Since the U2 shows that used the above as the intro, Ive been thinking about Chaplin a lot. The above speech is spine tingling, amd terrifying that we STILL find ourselves in the first segment I posted, and that the 2nd part is what we need to do It absolutely is spine tingling, and it's one of my most favourite speeches EVER. I really need to sit down and rewatch that film sometime soon. I always find myself rather conflicted thinking about this. On the one hand, Chaplin's speech is still so relevant 80 years on and sadly so. There are so many parts that I see him applying to the world that I can apply in the context of 2018's world. But at the same time, there is still SO much amazing stuff going on in this world right now. I point you to this Reddit thread (and this one) that's filled with thousands of comments of incredible, positive stuff that's going on. Countless things that we don't even realise yet. I think I find myself conflicted because there is no one side to it. There's lots of horrible things happening in this world, all these ordeals with Donald Trump and Brexit make it seem like the world is coming to an end, but at the same time there is so much amazing stuff going on that we don't even see. It's important to keep both in mind; you can't let down your guard but you also shouldn't forget the goodness that goes on every day. I'm sure many people questioned what the world was coming to when 9/11 happened, all those thousands of innocent lives lost at the hands of just 19 monsters. How could someone bring themselves to do such a horrific thing? What IS the world coming to? It's easy to get caught up in the bad. But then you remember the immediate aftermath, how millions and millions of people of different backgrounds dropped everything and came together to help one another. The people who searched through the rubble, the people who lined up for hours to give blood, the people in foreign countries who homed lost Americans, I can go on.
I'm going off on a tangent by this point, but basically my point is that even if there is a lot of bad stuff going on right now, there's still a lot of great stuff going on in this world too if you look for it. I can absolutely understand the negative perspective on things, I sometimes get like that too when I see some of the division going on. But if you keep looking for the bad stuff you'll going to find just that, so it's important to try and keep perspective on both the good and the bad, even if it can be difficult at times. Just my two cents I guess.

Lovely post pal. But you're on the wrong page. This one is all you need to remember what goodness really is. www.reddit.com/r/aww

Yes Indeed! Chaplin is a big hero of mine. I sent TonyR his autobiography about 12 years ago and I don't think he read it😂 What I love about him is that his work is a universal language like MJ's. It speaks to our heart. Beautiful artist. I really need to upgrade my dvds to the blu ray box sets at this point. Just for the record guys I'm not all doom and gloom. I'm a very passionate outgoing type hooked on music, film, literature and art. I've delt with issues in the past like many people but I'm a positive dude for the very most part.😎

First of all, this is my first time on here in ages on my laptop, and HIStoric, your signature is SENSATIONAL. It actually gave me a fright when it moved.
Anyway, I was just doing a bit of yoga, and a thought came to me.
Let's think like Mr Robson for a moment shall we?
So, he does not claim repressed memories, but instead claims that he had a sudden realisation that what went on with him and MJ was not right, despite being asked specifically about this on several occasions. He did not realise up until that point, that what went on was wrong.
This means, that for around 30 years, Wade Robson saw sex with a young boy as normal in his every day life. He says he knew what happened, but didn't realise it was wrong.
AM I GETTING THIS RIGHT!?!?!
I am glad to say that I went through all my years as a child, pre-teen, teen, young adult, and adult knowing that it would be wrong of me to engage in sexual activities with a child. There wasnt a process involved.
Yet, he lived years and years with this in his head, thinking "god what we did was grea... NO WAIT A MINUTE!!! NO IT WASNT!!! THAT WAS WROOOOONG!!!"
Sorry if my post is a little crude but "I just had a realisation" myself!!!! What a stupid fuckingg eejit!
In the immortal words of James Brown...

He's a very sick, twisted individual. Someone posted the link to his website on Facebook the other day, and I went there to have a look. He's "dedicated" a whole page to "Child Abuse Healing + Prevention", and there's even a link to where you can donate to "The Robson Family Fond", "dedicated to supporting the healing and prevention of child abuse". It's so fucked up to put those things on there!! I felt so sick to my stomach I had to leave, and I feel sick just talking about it

Sorry if my post is a little crude but "I just had a realisation" myself!!!! What a stupid fuckingg eejit! In the immortal words of James Brown... Please.... Please.... Please..... Yes, that is what he claims. Not only that, but Safechuck too claims he did not know it was abuse and wrong until shortly before he filed his lawsuit. So we have two grown ass men in this case who claim they just did not realize until shortly before filing their lawsuits that sexual relations between a boy and a man are wrong and abuse... I am pretty sure they will spend a lot of time in the documentary to gaslight people on this with some psychological mumbo-jumbo about denial or brainwash or something like that. The reality is that it doesn't make sense in the context of their stories. There are cases where a claim like that makes sense, but it is not that case. A case where the alleged victim is still a child - in that case it could make sense that he or she would not realize it is something wrong. Or there was a precedent case that was used in this court papers where a teacher had a sexual relationship with a 16 year old female student who later sued him for sexual abuse. But at the time, she claimed, she did not realize the wrongfulness of that relationship. In that context it could make sense that a 16 year old girl would think of it that it is a consensual romance or something. But even in that case a few years later she did realize it was wrong. Not 20 years later. I have never heard of another case where someone would say that they did not realize things like what these two are claiming were wrong and abusive. Among others anal rape (Robson) and digital penetration (Safechuck). It sounds BS because it is BS and a lie.

From Brad Sundbergs Twitter/Facebook
A few words about the movie at Sundance.
I decided to not even mention the movie by name, but I wanted to share a quick recap of a conversation I had with one of my daughters about the movie.
Clearly there is a minor buzz about the movie, and she asked my feelings about it. I gave it a few moments of thought, and said something along these lines:
I wasn't with Michael 24/7. I have never claimed to be his best friend. I did, however, know him pretty well.
I also had very unique access to his personal space - meaning I have literally pulled speaker wires under his bed. I have moved boxes in his closets to install amplifiers. I have been in his apartments and hotels, setting up dance floors and playback systems. I have set up his personal lounges in studios - and maintained them. I have seen his books and magazines. I have seen his video collection. I have been places - private places - that very few people have been allowed to enter. This was part of my job.
The same can be said of many celebrities and non-celebrities I have worked with. There is a trust that goes along with working so closely with them, in the most private parts of their home.
You overhear conversations and comments. You learn how to make the client feel completely comfortable around you. They need people around them to provide services (in my case, building music and video systems) without the sense of being "watched".
I have seen and heard things in OTHER homes that were - for lack of a better word - sad. But not in Michael's.
Nothing.
Honestly, nothing.
When I started doing seminars about my work and friendship with Michael, more than one person mentioned the accusations - and "what if..."
My response was, and continues to be, if there was even a hint of concern that Michael somehow harmed a child, I would not offer my seminars.
Michael was a very unique person. I didn't experience his childhood, but I did get a very close look at his adult life. I did have remarkably comfortable conversations with him. I have heard him make funny comments under this breath - but never hurtful, never tawdry. Never.
It isn't my job to defend him, nor to get riled about a tasteless movie. But I can be one voice saying that over the course of my 18+ year association and friendship with Michael - being allowed into his more personal spaces, bedrooms, lounges, hotel rooms, cars, etc., there is simply nothing I have seen or heard to offer even a shadow of doubt in my mind. Nothing.
Was he perfect? No. Did he make impeccable decisions every moment of the day? No. Was there even the smallest of hints that he could harm a child? Absolutely not.
The movie will come and go, and along the way a few people will make some snarky comments on social media.
As for me, I will maintain that I am proud - very proud - to have worked so closely, in so many places, over such a long period of time, with someone I had so much respect for. I love sharing stories from the studio, tours and Neverland. I love meeting his fans, and re-uniting with old friends. I was blessed to have been a small part of his team - allowing so many opportunities along the way.
But mostly, I'm proud that we were friends.
<><><><><><><><><>
I have taken a bit of time off from the seminars (completely unrelated to anything), just for a bit of a break. I spent this week on a Disney Cruise, so I am rested and tanned and very much in need of a diet - but the break is over!
I will be launching ticket sites this weekend for our 2019 events, and I couldn't be more excited.
We are working on a very special weekend in Detroit at Motown, and a large evening event in Belgium.
Plus Paris, Mexico City and Orlando.
Thanks for letting me share a few thoughts with you, and for your patience and kind words over the holidays. It was nice to step back for a minute, but I am excited to jump back in!
Have a great weekend, and I very much look forward to seeing you "In The Studio With MJ" sooner than later.
Brad
