Anyone seen that new article on The Scum? They plan on appealing/re launching their cases. OK, I just read it. I see the lawyer of these two frauds, Vince Finaldi talked to The Sun. Figures they would feed the trashiest tabloids. That while Wade claimed in his deposition that he wanted to publish a book because he did not want his claims to be tabloid fodder. Yet they constantly feed tabloids. The article is of course a rehash of their most salacious allegations. That's why they put them in their complaints in the first place. They just knew tabloids would absolutely love these crazy allegations. Then there is the half truth of stressing how the case has been thrown out only on technical grounds. Technically true, but not the full truth. To get around statutes of limitations these two have lied (such as about not knowing about the Estate) and the ruling clearly considered those claims as lies, otherwise the case had gone on. Finaldi and Channel 4 claims the two men do not get a penny for this doc. Oh, I didn't think they would get money directly for it. They would be cautious about that, of course. But they definitely can use it to make money other ways and build their "brands" as career victims. Like Wade said his story of abuse would make him "relevant and relatable" and he is already trying to use that "relevance" to raise money for a fund he had just set up. Plus it's still about their lawsuit, which where the real huge money is. Finaldi says they hope to resurrect their case this summer. I guess he means the appeal court. They obviously try to use this documentary to pressure the court into ruling in their favor. They think if they can raise enough publicity with this and get the metoo mob behind them they can pressure the court to rule in their favor.

If someone could give me some brief info i would be grateful. It's set to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this weekend, then it's due to air on HBO and UK's Channel 4 (the broadcast dates for those two channels? I dunno). Publicly, so far the Estate has issued a couple of statements and posted this message to their social media: I think that's generally it... otherwise they haven't really done much in the public eye - though to remain optimistic we don't know what's going on behind the scenes. It's a sticky situation because at least in America, you can't slander the dead, so they're not able to stop this documentary via the normal legal route. It's possible they're waiting to see what the documentary is like and how it is received, but generally the fanbase is (of course) urging them to get their crap together and go out and defend Michael.

Good man. Plus we've a musical announcement today apparently?

I'm sorry but that's his answer to every post on here, ''oh It's too negative to cope with, I'm out of here''. If you can't handle negativity in some form or another a discussion board is not the place to be because there will be people with differing opinions on things, it's simply a ridiculous way to be asking someone to give him the basics and edit out the bad. The whole situation is bad.

Good man. Plus we've a musical announcement today apparently? That's what I've heard. There was that really cool billboard up of MJ too, and apparently it was a teaser for the show.

Guys, if what's been leaking through the grapevine in Ireland and the UK over the past few days about a "famous Irish sports star" is true, then I dont think many will be talking about rehashed allegations against MJ...

Also Chris Brown's arrest.
But then it's not really now that we have to fear the backlash but when it gets on TV on the spring.

The whole situation is bad. I come on this board for music discussion mainly. Mj or other people. I dont like getting into arguments. Life's hard as it is, no need to look for it online as well. And I'm not gonna read a 20+ page of witch hunt shit about my hero. If I were to make an assumption about you as well, I would say you are very good at assuming the worst about people.
