I'm not sure if Google is tampering with MJ searches or it is just fans jumping to conclusions. We would need more evidence, but I would not be terribly surprised. Google is in the middle of a scandal where supposedly inside documents and e-mails came out that they deliberately disadvantage websites and persons who do not fit into the leftist agenda. Call people like Jordan Peterson and Ben Shapiro Nazis in inside e-mails which is utterly ridiculous (Shapiro is a Jew, BTW). m.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/jun/25/alleged-google-email-compares-ben-shapiro-jordan-p/Here's a video about that. youtu.be/3TnWfj3fQZgNow, this is politics, but eventually so is the whole MeToo madness. And "believe the accuser" too is a leftist dogma together with cancel culture. The good news is that unless they completely erase him from YouTube, Spotify and Google, I don't think it will affect him.

The fact that Taj had to ask whether this was real concerns me. He doesn't appear to be very knowledgeable about MJs history, stuff like this is common knowledge amongst the fanbase. And this guy wants our money to make a documentary about MJ?? I know his heart is in the right place and all, but he doesn't even know basic facts.

Taj gets a lot of his information from fans/Twitter it seems, which is just as dangerous as people getting their "facts" from FN. I hope he gets everything referenced if used in the doc. Truth be told, I don't have much faith in the documentary. By the time it comes out, it'll just blow FN up again.

Yeah I dunno what the intent is, but in the past when I've been searching for chart related information the Google thing has popped up in the top and I remember it having Michael Jackson in it. That's definitely changed.

Truth be told, I don't have much faith in the documentary. By the time it comes out, it'll just blow FN up again. I’d definitely suspicious of people getting their knowledge of this case from a 2004 film starring Johnny Depp But in all seriousness yes, you’re right. As for the google song debacle, same thing happened to me. However if I search “top albums of the 1980s”, Thriller is the second result shown. Changing it to 1982 shows Thriller, 1987 shows Bad, 1991 shows Dangerous, 1995 shows HIStory. Best music videos of the 1980s shows Thriller (uses Billboard.com as source).

Removed Michael Jackson, my arse. He's still there if you search for best selling album of all time and even most weeks at number one in the '80s with 27. Lionel Richie is second with 21 weeks. Fun songs of the 80s - Michael Jackson's TWYMMF shows up next to Janet's Miss You Much. Hot 100 Top 20 songs of the 1980s shows Billie Jean at number 18. Aye....definitely do not have high hopes for Taj's project which no doubt will look amateurish. I wouldn't be surprised if it contains inaccurate info which would backfire if you intend to debunk something. The fact Dan Reed didn't know basic facts is basically irrelevant because people who believe MJ is guilty WILL look to poke as many holes as they can in Taj's project. It needs to be watertight. Always harder to debunk than it is to make a claim.

Hes beginning to irritate me a bit now. Turning everything into a battle needlessly. Focus on the ONE thing you set out to do. Will there be a chapter based on Google in the doc now?

We know more about these things and he knows more about the real Michael. It's a little different. With that said, I don't have the highest of hopes for his documentary but I still support it 100%.

This is precisely what happens when Taj listens to the likes of Charles Thompson and Samar Habib too much. As I said a while ago, Taj is not a leader and clearly lacks the skills to be one. At the very least, he should be educating himself on leadership skills which would tell him to focus on the original message. And not allow pseudo-intellectuals to distract or divert him from the original purpose.

I do wonder how much his documentary is going, considering him and Bigi are popping out daily movie reviews on YouTube. How much time he actually spends with the documentary?
I would not be terribly surprised if nothing came out of it eventually.
But yeah, he definitely should pick his battles more wisely.

Taj says MJ should be mentioned if you type "top songs 1983" or "best songs 1983".
But if you type "best selling singles 1983", you'll find a photo of MJ at the White House 1984 at the top of the search results as well as stating he's in the top ten.
That brings up UK results even though I didn't mention the UK.
So, it seems to me that it depends on your search query and the algorithm.
Certainly not erasing Michael Jackson from history nor is it racism at work as some suggest. 🤔
One of several disappointing examples from Taj in the last few months.

Yeah, he's really making me start to worry about his doc. He's starting to seem more like the mjcast every time he posts something.

Yeah, he's really making me start to worry about his doc. He's starting to seem more like the mjcast every time he posts something. Let alone the SWARM of followers that act before they think, and believe that Google are now out for MJ.
