Those who believe MJ to be a paedophile can afford to be rude or over the top in their hatred.
But it's very different when you're trying to persuade people that MJ wasn't that. That's why the fans have to be on top of their game and not come out with rubbish either.
Simply put, fans can't afford to lower their standards, but the detractors absolutely can.
That's the way it is.

Haters are a lot more crazy than fans. Case in point: Jesus, this is 4chan-levels of insanity. Guess everyone will need to be on their toes that day and not engage these guys (or any haters for that matter). ...but there's gonna be a vocal minority that will do it anyway, won't there? -_-

Great, Todd in the Shadows is in the anti-MJ camp too. Can't say I'm too surprised because he kinda seemed to lean that way before. Now I have to ask if I'm willing to unsub from him or not.
Also, going back to Tatum O'Neal for a bit, I noticed she also uses the term "boys" to describe R&S, despite them being grown men. That earworm from the media really does work, doesn't it?

Is this Todd famous or something? Never heard about him before. He's a music Youtuber with about 270K subs, which is pretty decent. His whole gimmick is that he does his reviews sitting in front of a music keyboard in near-darkness so you can't see his face (hence the "in the Shadows" part of his name). He used to be on That Guy With The Glasses/Channel Awesome (same site the Nostalgia Critic and many others started out on) but left the site a while ago. It's a shame if he's in the anti-MJ camp because I do enjoy his one-hit wonder retrospectives and his Trainwreckords series.

And fans complain about being called bots? I've seen so many of these tweets the last few weeks, all with join dates of June/July. What's the point? They're clearly made up accounts to make it look like more people have changed their minds. People are slowly but surely rejecting the LN narrative, this nonsense isn't needed.
Hyde Park had 4 MJ songs played last week, one of which was played DURING Stevie's set and people sang and danced along. THAT is the important stuff.
When Stevie did the same DJ thing in Dublin, only ONE tweet from some clown had an issue with MJ being played.
Things are slowly but surely going in MJs favour, but in the right way. This silliness isn't needed and makes other real people look like "bots".

Trust me, those people calling us bots don't mean these kind of accounts. They mean the people posting in their comments with facts and all, and that's silly - and makes them ridiculous, not fans.

I despise the way the media keep using celebrities irrelevant opinions to keep dragging this story to the surface. Tatum O Neals opinion is completely irrelevant, unless she personally witnessed something, which she admits she didn't. How is her opinion on the subject newsworthy, simply because she knew him briefly 35yrs ago? Or Barbara Streisand? I bet neither of these two women know 5% of what the fans do about Wade/James and these allegations, and yet somehow their opinion is elevated as more important because of their celebrity status? Nevermind how ill-informed it may be. It's like the blind leading the blind.
I find it moronic and utterly depressing.

I imagine they asked her because she was one of the women Michael cited as being somewhat romantically involved with in the Bashir interviews.

Watching the video I felt like she felt under the pressure of the MeToo "believe the accuser" dogma. But yeah, she's irrelevant. In the past she said MJ was one of the most innocent people she's ever met, so she should just stick to how she personally experienced him.
