So are people still thinking the bus adverts are stupid because the CH4 promo on this has just officially started and it's going to get lots bigger especially with each private screening to hacks? If you ask me they done good booking this in advance.

If you ask me they done good booking this in advance. Absolutely, yes. Especially given that most people are NOT going to bother visiting the website on the adverts. Those adverts absolutely is not a good idea to use for Counter-Propaganda purposes. And this isn't a straightforward, conventional propaganda war either. It's an IRREGULAR, UNCONVENTIONAL propaganda war as Michael Jackson is dead and you cannot defame the dead. Fans are better off educating themselves on Counter-Propaganda techniques aka counter-insurgency techniques. They do work. But IF this was a straightforward, conventional propaganda war, then the bus adverts would be a good idea. Yet that's not what this is. In fact, I'm not surprised Seány O'Kane cannot recognise this.

But apparently now the journalists at the screening are being told if presented with facts by mj fans to just say 'watch the film'. The posters will have people asking who the hell is putting this up and they'll maybe look, I know this isn't straight forward and there is an agenda behind this but I'm not allowed to mention that, but any kind of positive image has to be better than nothing. Speaker on stage: “Now remember, whenever an MJ fan tweets you facts which completely debunk this whole documentary, what do you say?” “Journalists” in audience: “Watch the film.”

Speaker on stage: “Now remember, whenever an MJ fan tweets you facts which completely debunk this whole documentary, what do you say?” “Journalists” in audience: “Watch the film.”I've no doubt various journalists will do exactly that. In the last year, this is my second issue with Channel 4 with the first being what can only be described as a pro-IRA, pro-Republican hit piece on the British Army ("The Ballymurphy Precedent"). Director of that and Dan Reed have both been caught in a lie. Hell, they used the same "watch the film" line for the Ballymurphy Precedent shite. So, I essentially used Counter-Propaganda, counter-insurgency techniques along with facts against them. Let me be clear, pro-IRA Republicans are the slickest pricks around when it comes to propaganda. You have to bet on top of your game with them. So, I didn't actually target their supporters and they didn't actually target me. It was the lurkers who were the targets. Exactly the same principles apply in the case of Michael Jackson. The battleground is absolutely 100% not the streets of London, Amsterdam or Los Angeles. The battleground is ONLINE on HBO and Channel 4 pages to begin with. After the initial first few days, we should move onto other pages. Me Too demonstrates how social media is more powerful and more influential than traditional print media is. Traditional media ignored Me Too to begin with. Social media made it take off, including with the backing of a celebrity. Traditional media did NOT take Wade Robson and Jimmy Safechuck seriously from 2013 until the sudden Sundance inclusion of Leaving Neverland. But social media is giving them a platform which then leans on traditional media to publicise it. The fans are not anything more than auxiliaries and should focus on the online arena. Anything else in the offline world should 100% be left to the MJ Estate to counter, especially in the form of a documentary.

We all need a coping mechanism to deal with this shit. The next few weeks are going to be pretty awful.
My view is we all need to become hardened to it, brush off the crap being posted by the blue tick brigade on twitter, respond with facts when we’re confronted with it and keep our fingers crossed that the Estate have more planned to counter this.
We’ve been through rough times before as fans and we’ll get through this.

Online is happening too, I just think any kind of positive attention is a good thing online and off as this shitstorm starts up. This 'film' didn't cost millions or even thousands to make/recoup, there is a lot more behind this than HBO/CH4 that's one of the things people should be looking further into, this isn't just about deflecting two Weinstein events. Someone is after something through MJ's reputation being ruined, temporarily or permanently.

Don't really feel like I'm ready for this at all. I can see MJ's reputation being totally destroyed. Everyone who sees this thing is just believing it even though the facts are so easy to access.

I know it's hard not to take it personally, but when all is said and done it's not going to affect your feelings about MJ so just ride the storm, it cant be worse than 93' or '05.

I'm getting nervous too. I'm disabled and can't drive, so my entire social life is online/social media. I'm in some political activist circles that lean pretty far-left, and include several abuse survivors who are big into the whole #MeToo/believe all victims thing. I don't want to lose friends over my love and defense of Michael's innocence. Any tips for handling this coming storm?

Remember this? www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMAz1MBhG_UThis was a very detailed allegation of sexual molestation whilst Michael Jackson was alive. ZERO evidence. Eventually, found to be a malicious allegation. Sure, a lot of people may ignore that one, especially the MeToo crowd, but at the same time.....how can any law abiding society allow the law itself to be perverted by the kind of logic espoused so as not to doubt any accuser? Here's the court document that dismissed the lawsuit alleging sexual abuse towards Joseph Bartucci, Jr, by Michael Jackson. www.casemine.com/judgement/us/591471c1add7b04934372f2cTurned out that Michael Jackson never met him. In 2011, Bartucci set up his own blog page where he documents his alleged abuse. Who else did the same thing? Wade Robson. Here's an article about the allegations of sexual molestation levelled against Michael Jackson by Daniel Kapon. www.eonline.com/news/57209/crazy-jackson-case-tossedThis guy was literally cuckoo. Next time someone says "watch the film...it's highly detailed!"....tell them about these cases too. Establish as much doubt as you can in their minds towards the allegations made by Wade Robson and Jimmy Safechuck.

Shit like this is just the beginning. Somehow a one sided "documentary" is PROOF now that MJ is a paedophile. LOL.
IF ONLY THE JURY COULD HAVE SEEN A SHOW LIKE THIS IN 2005... 😂🤣😂 Enough to surely convict?? NOT.

^The good thing is that every time I see one of those blue tick bots tweet their standard script ("powerful film"/"leaves no doubt"/"just watch it"), almost all the comments on the tweet are of fans pushing back with facts. And those comments tend to get more likes and retweets too. A random person who sees the tweet and clicks on it will definitely see that, and also see that many people feel that way - not just some fringe #MJTruthSquad.
