Janet met Joh'vonnie but if you look at the pictures, it looks like a meet and greet backstage in one of Janet's shows in Vegas, if I recall correctly.

As for what happened to her daughter, it's absolutely appalling and disgusting. One would think people learned from the apartheid society inflicted on black people in the first half of the 20th century, but sadly racism and hatred to the ones who have a different ethnicity are alive and well.

I don't blame Janet or any of the siblings if they didn't want to do anything with her (I think Rebbie is the only one who talks to her more often,) after all Joh'vonnie is the illegitimate child of one of Joe's affairs. It saddened me to know Michael felt heartbroken telling Glenda his father was more loving to Joh'vonnie than his other children. JV didn't meet the tyrant manager who saw his children with Katherine as a commodity rather than sons or daughters.

Idk if you read Johvonnies book but she doesn’t paint Joseph in the best light either. MJ felt Koh was getting the better treatment but she wasn’t.
