Thanks mate! I’m pretty much in an incredibly great place mentally these days but my teens were very difficult years because of various life issues and experiences and it can effect ones sleep, habits and behaviours etc but I still feel the effects from time to time when having to deal with people. So when I see people jump online and shit on Paris it angers me. And I can’t stand “her father wouldn’t have approved” type crap. Anyway, I’m feeling much better now having gotten that off my chest so thanks. Good to hear you’re doing better, sorry your teen years were hard, that’s not an easy time at all to be dealing with such stuff, and definitely wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Nah it’s all good. I would imagine around 90 percent of people have had it difficult at one time or another. I’m certainly not a victim but thanks for your understanding. It’s a lovely thing. 😎👍🏼 You’ve calmed me down by being nice. It’s funny isn’t it? Compassion solves most things.

Wow, what an asshole. I guess that's about what I expect from him though. Nikki Sixx is known throughout the industry for being a wanker of colossal proportions. Sully Erna from Godsmack wrote the song Cryin Like A Bitch about Sixx. The story goes that he was rude to Godsmack when they were an up and coming band on the same bill as Motley Crue, treated them like shit and was an all-round jerk. Years later when Godsmack were a bigger band than Motley Crue he tried to be all pal-y with them when they crossed paths again, and Sully reminded him what a jackass he had been. Sixx then went on his radio show and started "crying like a bitch" about Godsmack, hence the song title. He sounds like a real cunt. I really dig Crue, but Nikki has always rubbed me the wrong way. Like every since I watched interviews with him when I was a little kid. Just seemed like a total a hole. In a related story, I ran into Tommy Lee once in Las Vegas. As in, literally ran into him. We were both not watching where we were going and ran into each other haha. He was very normal about it. The usual "Oh, oh, I'm so sorry" while I was saying the same thing. Except the whole time I was saying "oh, I'm sorry" I was realizing who he was haha. He was nice enough to take a quick pic afterwards, then he booked it off the gaming floor.

I'm against fans giving Paris hell for everything she says or does but I just can't side with her she wants to separate people from the art even though they have called her father the p word to get attention for themselves. It's inconceivable to me she still wants to like their music even if they insulted Michael in the worst possible way.

Sia talking about Paris like she's a child. That ship sailed. No matter your opinion on what Paris has (or hasn't) done, she's old enough to own it.

I actually like some Crue and have most of their albums, although don't listen to them often. Sixx is a talented songwriter for sure, and has written some good songs for other artists, he did a beautiful song for Drowning Pool when Ryan McCombs was still in the band, called Reason I'm Alive. I guess he is an example of someone where I can separate the artist from the art. It probably helps that he isn't the guy fronting his bands. I think it would be harder to like him as an artist if he was the one singing the songs. He just plays bass and writes the songs, so I can listen to Crue, or Sixx:AM or that Drowning Pool song and enjoy it and not feel like I'm listening to Nikki Sixx, even though he is arguably the mastermind behind that stuff.

I've always liked Rock and Roll pt II by Gary Glitter, and what he's done is the worst. I Believe I Can Fly is still a great song to me. He's another plank.

I find it ironic that a man with mental health issues on his own (and with a number of past comments for that he could have been banned a long time ago) is the most judgmental of her in this thread. It's the same guy who regularly posts shady, negative threads about MJ. And he now wants to create a Twitter account just to "give Paris hell", just for not cursing out Sia. Ugh, OK. You can make this personal all you like respect77 , but I am not the topic of conversation here. Michael Jackson is not my Dad. Paris SHOULD be held to a different standard than some random guy on an MJ forum. She's his daughter ffs!! She enjoys all the trappings of MJs fame, the lifestyle, the money, the opportunities that come with being his daughter and the price she pays is that fans and the worlds media look to her to know more about MJ, who he was and what he stood for. Fans insistence on constantly portraying her as the perpetual victim is ridiculous. Please get off the cross, we need the wood!!! So I started a thread back during the height of LN-furore - at a time when the whole world was calling MJ a pedo - expressing I had some genuine concerns that I was backing the wrong horse. I'm sorry we all can't be as perfect as Saint Respect77 of MyMJJForum, who's obviously never had a momentary lapse of faith in MJ in her entire life. As for your assertion that I regularly post shady, negative threads on here about MJ, that is just utter bullshit and you know it. I am one of the main contributors to this board, have started dozens of music related MJ threads and I resent your repeated and false insinuations that I am anything other than a true MJ fan.

I'm not talking about your doubts about MJ around LN. I'm talking about your behavior generally on this forum (and yes, that includes you regularly starting threads that appear to be shady and focus on negativity about MJ. (Whether it's BS or true anyone here can decide for themselves.) That has been tolerated here in the name of free speech and I'm OK with that until certain lines aren't crossed. I'm just pointing out the irony that of all people it's you who want to "give Paris hell", just for not cursing out Sia. If you don't like her, just ignore her. No MJ fan is forced to follow her or pay attention to her. But signing up to Twitter just to "give her hell" is mental, I'm sorry. If you think Paris's comments to Sia are a bad look on MJ, then MJ fans viciously attacking his daughter is a much worse look IMO.

What's sad is seeing long term fans who have been out defending Michael for years throwing in the towel because of what Paris said yesterday.
I'm just done with Paris. Yesterday was the last straw for many fans who've been excusing and even defending her behaviour in the past.

The self righteousness of some MJ fans is too much for me at times.

Yesterday was the last straw for many fans who've been excusing and even defending her behaviour in the past. IMO those fans have been defending MJ for all the wrong reasons then (getting personal appreciation?). I have spent years with making my website, arguably more time and effort defending MJ than most fans who are now "throwing the towel" and I don't feel all the overdramatic statements they are making about about how "Paris ruined our work" (how exactly?) and crying a river over not feeling appreciated. I have never done it to feel appreciated by anyone, let alone Paris. I'm doing it because I feel MJ deserves justice. That's it. It's not about me or my precious feelings or Paris or anyone else, besides MJ. If this can make them throw the towel then maybe they weren't in it for the right reasons IMO. Besides I feel some of these overdramatic posts are being passive aggressive towards her, blaming it on her if they are not going to defend MJ any longer. This towards MJ's daughter who struggles with mental illness.

Let's face it, there are fans that look for any opportunity to bash her because they don't "approve" of her life choices or think that those choices and her struggles reflect poorly on MJ. People that want to hold her to MJ's standard for some reason. They don't care about her... they just don't want her to be a blemish on MJ's legacy.
