So shocked by this. Fucking cancer. He did all those Black Panther roles while undergoing treatment.
RIP.

I don't know anything about him, I have never seen Black Panther or any movie he was in, but 43 years old is way too young to die. Fuck cancer.

Unbelievable. How can you make those sort of films whilst undergoing treatment?

Had to Google who he was. Terrible disease that has ravaged my family He just got on with it and fought. Makes a change from those who make a career out of it. R.I.P

Chadwick also played James Brown on a biopic called Get on Up and Netflix premiered Da 5 Bloods this year directed by Spike Lee but it's true he will be primarily known for playing King T'Challa/Black Panther in the Marvel cinematic universe. I read he was diagnosed with colon cancer in stage III 4 years ago and went under chemotherapy and other surgeries while filming the Marvel movies, among others. I wouldn't have known he had cancer and was battling the diseases for all these years because he had a tremendous physique embodying Black Panther. Cancer is a cruel bitch no doubt, rest in power Chadwick!

His family must be crestfallen, to say the least. I hope they can cope somehow. To say this is tragic would be a negligent understatement of sorts. The guy was combating deadly cancer whilst visiting children at Saint Judeโs hospital. And he was also undergoing treatment while filming Black Panther and other movies. How many inspirations of that kind still exist today?
I hope he rests in eternal power and peace.

The lynching mob of political correctness strikes again.
Elizabeth Olsen, aka Wanda Maximoff/Scarlett Witch was bombarded with attacks and criticism because she didn't post anything about Chadwick Boseman's passing and had to close her social media accounts as a result.
Elizabeth and Chadwick didn't share much screen time together as far as I remember and maybe she wasn't close to him as the rest of Marvel cast. Not all people have the need to post everything on social media, that's why I find the attacks she received ridiculous and uncalled for.

Yikes... I wouldn't classify it as political correctness though; just people being stupid. Someone also Tweeted to Letitia Wright (the actress who played Shuri) that she has to become Black Panther now. Just another day of people being dumb on the internet.

Haven't seen Black Panther but was aware of it. Really sad that this happened and also amazing that he continued to make those films whilst battling. He was obviously very strong as nobody had a clue. I'm happy that he was able to deal with it in peace.
