Well the pandemic is still raging away but due to governments wanting the economy to keep flushing, so many businesses/shops/job places are now open. Plus pubs, cinemas, cafes etc. More people socialise now, too.
Now we are able to do more, do you feel more wary or nervous? Has it put you off and you stay inside more than you used to, or do you feel chilled and want to be out and about as normal?

Here in Hungary it is starting to get worse now again. Actually I think this autumn/winter is going to be our real test. We already have more new diagnosed cases per day (around 1000 now) than in the spring. I think in the spring we hardly got it, but now it is gonna be potentially worse. It adds to the problem that people aren't taking it as seriously any more as they feel it was overhyped during the spring. The government is also more reluctant to close down things, because of economy, which is understandable to a certain extent, but then some of the measures are just confusing and inconsistent. For example they didn't allow concerts all summer (and they still don't allow them), but they allow soccer matches (I suspect it has to do with Orbán being a soccer fan, SMH). This of course adds to people not taking it seriously any more - now, when things actually do start getting worse. So it is the "perfect storm" now for the situation to get bad here.

I've been working throughout the pandemic and am certainly not remotely nervous about going to shops, cafes and so on.
The only thing that made me nervous was the prospect of so many people wearing masks as I lipread. But people usually take it off when you let them know, so that's not a problem.
While we're told to behave as though everyone is infected with coronavirus, you have to keep the risks in perspective.
Globally, there's 29million cases with 19.5 million recovered and the rest obviously hasn't run its course. Population? 7 billion.
The UK has 390,000 positive cases and 41,000 deaths. Population? 66 million people.
As long as you socially distance and wash your hands regularly which we're told is still far more effective than wearing masks, I don't really see the need to feel nervous.

I was a little nervous when lockdown was lifted and hesitant like many people to go out and do normal things. But I'm slowly getting my life back to normal, just as the government look like they're about to impose more lockdown measures. Ugh. Will it ever end?

No different for me. I live in a low population density area and everywhere around me is the same.ontop of less visitors/tourists so its even quieter than normal.so travelling around is easier than normal The only thing thats different is been restricted being able to travel around the country further afield,to places i want to visit while im still here. This year has been pretty wasted interms of that
Having to wear a mask all the time is a ball ache.half the time its around everyones chin as theres no one around to distance from! Except when your are in larger towns etc.
The whole thing where i am has just brought out all the hypochondriacs and paranoid ppl who have such cushy nice lifes they have been self isolating since march .i know someone who had it at least twice (allegedly)!!!
What its doing to the economies and ppls mental health is the main thing to me. Dont know what the heck im gonna do in the next couple of years

I wouldn't say that I'm nervous about it anymore, but I still want it to go away!

I'm still not nervous for me and I generally don't feel much in the way of nerves for myself.
But I do feel nervous for others, especially in terms of mental health issues.
And more job losses to come for others too.
Tighter restrictions will prove to be disastrous in so many ways as a lot of harm was caused by the first lock down. Several businesses were hanging by a thread as a result of the first lock down.
I feel increased anger towards the Chinese Government for trying to cover up the coronavirus problem in the first place. If they hadn't, it might not have spread all around the world, people might not have died and global economies might not be in the shitter as we speak.
Yeah, definitely more pissed than nervous.

I have to be careful about where I go and can’t have anyone come over, cause we have a healthcare worker in the family. I’m pissed that it disrupted my routine of working and going for prayers regularly
