I recently read a wonderful article by an American author, he said incredible words: "Michael Jackson became Michael Jackson thanks to his incredible talent —despite everything that happened to him."
Michael Jackson was a paradoxical figure; a brilliant artist who consquistou the world, fell and rose hundreds of times before the audience who sometimes turned away from him, but verdae and love prevailed. Because people felt his human warmth and the sadness he carried for life.
Ultimately, Michael overcame everything. He proved that talent wins absolutely everything.''

Some films are marked for years in our hearts. This is the case of The Color Purple, steven spielberg's masterpiece based on the book by Alice Walker. The film premiered Whoopi Goldberg in the role of celie a teenage girl raped by her father, who is separated from her children. She shares her suffering in letters and, in time, revolts at her situation—at a time when black women were considered second-class citizens—and becomes aware of its value and the possibilities the world offers it.
Whoopi Goldberg recalls the day of the audition:
"I went to Steven [Spielberg's] studio and then I looked out, you know, behind the curtain, and there it was —Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Steven and a lot of people. It was the moment I've always dreamed of."
Alice Walker's daughter Rebecca was also at the audition:
"I met Michael Jackson in 1984. We were both invited to Quincy Jones and Steven Spielberg by Amblin, Steven's producer at Universal. Actress Whoopi Goldberg was getting ready to play the lead role and Michael and I sat in the front row. He wore his legendary red jacket with gold shoulder pads and — just a glove. Whoopi was funny and at one point she looked at me intently, as if inviting me to participate.
I'll never know why Michael in a room full of celebrities approached me right after the audition. Maybe because I was the youngest guest, only 14 years old, a quiet girl with little ambition. Maybe Michael realized that in my company he could feel completely free in some sense. And then he asked me in a low voice how I could improvise so well on stage. He admitted to me that he'd be nervous. I remember laughing and saying, "Michael, that's okay." He shook his head and smiled so openly that I felt like wanting to hug him.''
Alice Walker, author of The Color Purple in an excerpt from an open letter to Paris Jackson:
''I'm writing because I met your father once: Quincy Jones introduced us to Steven Spielberg's studio in Burbank. Was it Burbank? Or was it In Los Angeles? Anyway, it was beautiful, mainly because the studio was all decorated with indian blankets but what impressed me most was your father. First of all because he was taller than I imagined. He wore what appeared to be a sailor's jacket.
I've admired and loved him since he was a kid. We lived in completely different worlds. But here's what I want to tell you: I said hi and, I reached out my hand, which was natural to me. That or hugs. He kept very quiet, he didn't move, he didn't say a word. It was an embarrassing break. I smiled and turned to my friends who came with me.
I was intrigued. Why didn't he say hello?
Later, Jones told me that Michael loved The Purple Color (the book) we were filming, and that's why he came, but he was too shy to talk. What he said afterwards stayed with me all these years: he said that Michael loved my book so much until it got to the point of him considering himself as Celie.''

Even at an early age, Zendaya quickly became one of Hollywood's most acclaimed and respected stars. Her performance as a teenager battling drug addiction in the drama series Euphoria led her to become the youngest Emmy Winner in the Category of Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Other of his works include the film The Greatest Showman (2017), the new sequel Spider-Man, as well as the brilliant Netflix drama Malcolm & Marie (2021).
Zendaya's taste for art is not limited to acting, the actress went through a moment in her career when she explored the possibility of becoming a pop star, although in that sense she has not shone as much as other actresses who have followed a similar path as Miley Cyrus or Ariana Grande, the truth is that her influences are still valid in her career.

Legendary singer Gladys Knight told British tabloid The Mirror that she misses Michael Jackson "every day." The soul and R&B singer had known Michael since the beginning of his Jackson 5 days and labeled herself Michael's "big sister." "I still miss him every day. Michael and I started out very young. I know your mother, your father, your brothers and sisters. He knew all my children, we were very close. I'm so sad he's not here anymore. We'd do shows together and then we'd sit in the lobby and talk about life." "I remember one day he came to my house because he was friends with my children. We were having fun and then he asked me something that almost made me cry. He said, 'Gladys, how do you make a family?' I said, Michael, one day you might have one you love. One day love will fall into your lap... I think about him every day. He was an amazing young man."

"Someone who inspired me a lot was Michael Jackson. He was a pop star, and as much as at first he tried to cover [the spots] by what people were going to say, when it spread, he took over and turned really white. I was thinking 'the guy who was super famous took over, why am i going to feel bad? He went head-to-head, he didn't fail to succeed because of that."

Caroline Dallarosa, 24, is on the air in the soap opera Beyond the Illusion with the character Arminda — and during a chat with STARSTAR, the actress talked a little about the challenge of acting in a period plot, in addition to telling of her admiration for singer Michael Jackson.
The artist stated that one of the difficulties in interpreting Arminda is that her emotions vary easily, being a little more complicated to do some specific scenes — Caroline also said that she is getting used to the language of the soap opera.
I think the Arminda is a character with many layers. I built it in the form of a roller coaster. Her emotions range from eight to eighty, so sometimes making a specific scene is more complicated. Apart from the language of the time. (...) The spontaneous part of it, I have a lot of it in life, so I end up taking it to character.
In the novel written by Alessandra Poggi, Dallarosa paired up with Ricky Tavares and the young woman said that the two built a friendship outside the global telinhas.
Ricky, I've already told you, and I'm going to say it again: you came in at the right time and became a friend more than a special one. The minute we hit each other' s eyes, we knew we were going to build a beautiful job together.
The star also explained why he's such a Michael Jackson fan.
(...) I joke he's my father. I've admired him a lot since he was a kid. I think his life story is amazing. Apart from the impeccable artist who was... I really want to have a 1% of his career. We're a lot alike, we both didn't want to grow up, he concluded.

Dick Clark (1929–2012) is the embodiment of the ever-living American pop presenter and TV host. With his finger forever on the pulse of America's youth, he gained fame as the iconic and charismatic host of the american bandstand show. From 1956 to 1989 he welcomed to his show those who made headlines in American and international music. Interviewer whose jokes were not original but still effective, he also produced a series of radio shows for local stations, titled Dick Clark's Rock, Roll & Remember. Dick Clark and Michael Jackson formed a showbiz friendship that defied the passage of time. From the early days of the Jackson Five at Motown, Michael and his brothers appeared regularly on the American Bandstand. Michael made his solo debut with Rockin' Robin and I want to Be Where You Are, songs from his debut album, Got to Be There. Clark interviewed the group several times from the 1970s to the beginning of the Thriller period. When the host launched his own awards ceremony, the American Music Awards (AMAs), in 1973, Michael Jackson was among the first stars invited to present the awards to the winners. Unlike the Grammy Awards, where professionals receive awards from their peers, THE AMAs are based on public votes. And there's the crucial difference: throughout his career, Clark has put the stars and the audience at the center of the debate. The voice of the people prevailed. And this inescapable truth was regularly proved when he and Michael Jackson met. During the American Bandstand show on February 10, 1979, Dick Clark welcomed the Jackson brothers as they began promoting their new album, Destiny. They sang three songs: Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground), Things I Do For You and Push Me Away. Michael Jackson turned to the legendary presenter at several important moments in his career: he booked the first TV showing of the short film The Triumph — Can You Feel It for American Bandstand, where it aired on September 19, 1981. On January 16, 1984, to commemorate the overall success of the thriller album, Clark regalous jackson with a panel of dreams of personalities to present him with the 11 awards that the public had awarded him; Diana Ross and Lionel Richie, but also Paul McCartney through a video message, paid tribute to their talent and success. On January 25, 1993, when dangerous received a number of well-deserved awards, Clark suggested that Jackson open the 20th edition of the American Music Awards with an exclusive performance of the eponymous song. Michael Jackson took advantage of this to add new elements to his performance —a move that has since been widely adopted by pop artists. During this ceremony, Dick Clark renamed the International Artist Award the Michael Jackson International Artist Award. It was awarded to artists whose achievements go beyond simply albums or hit songs —in other words, great artists. On April 20, 2002, Dick Clark and Michael Jackson last met on a television set. Clark was celebrating the 50th anniversary of the American Bandstand and Michael Jackson made his last television-specific performance, again in Dangerous. The two men represented, in their respective fields, a modern, people-centered and unifying vision of the world of entertainment. Dick Clark's work has lived since his death in 2012: the American Music Awards continued to be an iconic ceremony of the music industry. And some of the best moments of this event were courtesy of Michael Jackson. — Excerpt from Michael Jackson: All the Songs by Francois Allard and Richard Lecocq.

Ivan Lins was the guest of the episode of The Emitter Post, blitz podcast in which he talked about a long career that contemplated collaborations with numerous international artists. In the Issuing Post, Ivan Lins tells how Quincy Jones, producer of Michael Jackson's "Thriller", contacted Jackson to record a song of his own, uncover the reason why it would not eventually integrate into the final lineup of the album, which would become one of the most popular (and sold) of all time. "If the song had come in, I wouldn't be here! I was in Fiji, fishing! One song and i wouldn't have to work anymore," said the veteran Brazilian musician. Michael Jacson is not just a performer. He's the creator of your dance. He doesn't do something he just learned by imitating a choreographer. Even when his dance is carefully choreographed, he remains the creator: his dance comes from within, not from other people, regardless of who has collaborated during the preparation.
He dances in the flow of free creation. It should be noted that even the movements he performs on stage and again do not repeat mechanically as a broken disc. No, he can continue any of his free improvisation dances at any time. And it never goes out of sync with your personal style; instead, it opens up new facets of its untrustless inner creator.
This is what a copycat can't do. Only the creator of the dance can update and renew his dance naturally and improvise freely, and still be himself. No one else can dive into your sacrament. This is your personal domain, just as each person has his own body and his own place on Earth.
