I know we have a thread about coronavirus but I wanted to start a more personal discussion. Has the current pandemic effected your personal relationships and/or mental health? I know it's been a tough year for many and I've read a lot of reports talking about how many people are struggling etc. Have you found it difficult or has life marched on the same for you?

The pandemic has actually been great for me. I met my boyfriend and we had to quarantine together or never see eachother. There is no way we would've moved in together so quickly otherwise and it's worked out great. Okay, I've split his shins in two and have him tied to the bed Annie Wilkes-style, but he seems happy enough.

It was hard for my mental health in the beginning because I finally had a routine that was working out after some struggles I had few years ago, but had to put everything on hold. And I left a job before my contract expired cause there were covid cases and one client passed away from it, so that was really close to home
Been passing time by listening to a lot of music and occasionally working at another job I’ve had for years when needed. We have all these different measures in place cause of covid. I did a little bit of online dating in the summer and briefly had a boyfriend but it didn’t work out and I’m glad for that cause he was bad news
I just really want to get this vaccine sooner than later but think I’m going to have to wait for months

to go out and make friends. i'm a person with special needs it's kind of hard to make friends who understand me and my special needs.
i'll say the only stuff that affect me was to go out and make friends, the place i was living at was terrible, also items shortages, and stores etc rising their prices.
other than that, it hasn't affected me much. i'm very bless for that.

Turned me into more of a reclusive weirdo than I already was/am. Inflation sucks.

Oh, you know, it's been fantastic theatre. I do have genuine sympathy for those taken in by it though. We now have to wait for the next one that Bill Gates has promised us. I've heard that it may be hemorrhagic in nature so that could be, umm... interesting.
