Fans have been coming up with ideas on what the estate and Sony should put out, like boxsets for individual tours or the short films in HD and other things . What do you think should be released?

Nelson Mandela... Its' about time that he... oh wait, no.
I think that all albums should see a decent re-release in some form of box set. Re-mastered. Those albums aren't going anywhere, so Off The Wall to Invincible should be released on CD, Vinyl as a remastered set with some Live shows, Bad Wembley, Dangerous Bucharest (unedited audio) and a 97 Tour. There should then be an album of Rare tracks that have been released so far, along with unheard demos/different versions. That's what they;ve done with Bowie and even though I have all the albums I am loving the attention his own UNBASTARDISED work has been getting.

Chuck it all on a box set. He's gone now and won't be producing anything new. Although I know they won't do that, gotta keep the money train rolling. A collectors label or something.

A Legacy label like Elvis with each album getting the super deluxe treatment. Make it worth the while for the lifelong and hardcore fans for gawd sakes! I WANT to hear 4 versions of Who Is It! I WANT to watch another Bad Tour concert! I WANT to look at never before seen photos! I WANT to read essays wrriten by prestigious historians! Scour the world for unearthed audio and visual material, sit down with the Jackson's and negotiate with them for Triumph and Victory tours, for Destiny, Triumph and Victory box sets. Sit down with Motown CEO and negotiate a merging for J5 boxsets on a Legacy label. Continue doing the branding and franchising but look after the people who have devoted a large part of their lives to supporting MJ and loving what he did and gave us. MJ would have appreciated that also and wanted his life long fans prioritised to a certain extent.

I would actually buy an album just full of different versions of already released songs. A box set.

MJ would have appreciated that also and wanted his life long fans prioritised to a certain extent. I have a weird obsession with hearing earlier versions of songs. I would actually buy an album just full of different versions of already released songs. A box set. Absolutely!! There is nothing better than hearing your favourite artist of all time developing, tweaking, experimenting and evolving a piece of work that you love. 2 years ago I got the Bob Dylan Cutting Edge boxset: 6 discs of numerous takes of songs from 3 pivotal albums. I prefer many of the alternative takes of songs, it made me love songs I never enjoyed and some are i inferior, but ALL of it is an absolute treat! A treasure trove of gems! One disc alone has 20 different versions of one of his most famous songs Like A Rolling Stone! Its part of The Bootleg Series on Dylan's Legacy label on Columbia Records. Same with Elvis, his That's The Way It Is -live album- got a super deluxe release a few years ago also, 8 cds and 2 dvds worth of concerts from that particular Vegas run of shows and its an outstanding boxset. From time to time I get my hands on alot of these boxsets and am spellbound by the quality and amount of material. I will remain patient with the MJ estate for the duration of this first 10 year deal and I'm around 60% happy with the first 8 years. They have done a great job of keeping him relevant and active in the showbiz world, sometimes through major fuck-ups such as fake songs and fake holograms, sometimes through half decent releases like Bad25 and Xscape, aswell Immortal World Tour and MJ One. Theres been an awful lot of shamless commercialism the past 8 years and some questionable business deals but they did clear the massive debt within 3 years which is remarkable, alothough MJ himself did most of that by dying and having the world enthralled by This Is It and the general public buying all his albums. I will buy Scream and I'm even a little excited and delighted to see all of the promo going on around the world, but after the first posthumous decade I really do hope that they bring in a few of us lifelong fans for ideas, disscusion and feedback. They sit on one of the most creative fanbases in the world! The diverse background, eclectic tastes and creative traits that run through the MJ fandome is secound to none. Surely they're aware of Nicks* innovative remix style -he coined the tearm Redux for crying out loud- and that he's the go-to guy for hardcores who want quality remixes that keep and enhance the the original track. Nick* is leaugues above someone like Pittbul, heck hes even leauges above Timbaland. I think whats so frustrating for a large part of the fanbase is that we intrinsically understand Michael the artist more that his own people do and its hard to watch them sign another big deal for minimum effort. I'm looking forward to T3D, buying Scream and actually think its a good idea -but the omission of Is It Scary is the first frustration- curious about the animated special and hoping Ghosts has a part to play as in a bluray boxset. I'll see what happens.

As fans we all want to hear everything that our favourite artists have ever done. Unfortunately it doesn't always end up turning out that way. The only thing to do is just sit back & see what transpires.

I would legit buy a disc full of 20 different versions of the one song. Maybe I'm part of the problem lol.

It would only make sense if such a disc was part of a big boxset like the Dylan one I got but yeah, an MJ boxset containing a disc with 20 versions of one of his greatest tracks?? Take my money yesterday!
