Putting aside live vocals (as nobody would vote for the 90s over the 80s when it came to live vocals), what is your favourite MJ era vocally?
I've tried to break it up into categories which show the different eras of his vocals best.
You can vote for two.

He was an incredible singer from 5yrs old till literally the day he died. TII live vocals prove he never lost it.
Really hard to seperate different eras of greatness, but I went for Dangerous-HIStory first, as his vocal delivery on Keep The Faith and Earth Song are career-best. My second choice was Invincible-TII, I just love how he sounds on stuff like Heaven Can Wait, Whatever Happens and Butterflies, plus he sounded great on TII - the best live vocals I've heard from MJ since the Bad tour.

I've always had a soft spot for his post-J5/pre-OTW vocals. The way he sounded on One Day In Your Life and You Are There for example was just so beautiful, he could really break your heart in two. I don't think I've ever heard melancholy captured in the human voice quite as effectively as the way MJ delivered these songs.

HIStory has to be the most versatile
The sweetness of Childhood and Smile alongside the anger of Scream and TDCAU. Plus the rap style of Money and Tabloid Junkie alongside the beauty of Stranger in Moscow and You Are Not Alone.
On Earth Song alone it transcends from the balladry of the verses to the gospel guttural pleas of the crescendo.
Sometimes I really think he's better than Bieber.

Lol I chose destiny-off the wall-thriller and bad

He was an incredible singer from 5yrs old till literally the day he died. Have you heard him at 5 years old? Sorry, that was just an assumption. Wasn't it 5yrs old when he sang Climb Every Mountain at his school play and left everyone in tears? That's why I said he was an incredible singer from 5yrs old.

Don't know what my favourite is, but when I was bingeing The Jacksons albums in lockdown last year, I remember really appreciating how youthful Michael's voice sounded.

My favorite is probably Off The Wall, Thriller, and Bad.
