all three of these Music Makers worked with MJ over the past 25 plus years of his career and rank them in order who you think got the best out of MJ and the least to you all
Teddy Riley help Bring MJ Up to date with New Jack Swing and "remember the time was the Money cut.
R.kelly and Michael Jackson made History with "you are not alone"
Darkchild and MJ hit with "you rock my world"
of those 3 who do you wish had have done a full Project with MJ and why?
who was only cool for a song or two and that was more than enough in hinsight?

The collaboration with Teddy brought the best results IMO. I've never been a big fan of the songs R.Kelly did for MJ -generally I'm not a big fan of R.Kelly ballads, period. Darkchild was OK, but overall I vote for Teddy.

1. Teddy by far. 2. R. Kelly. 3. Darkchild.

I too prefer Darkchild over R. Kelly but Teddy was the best of them. Although Teddy's New Jack Swing on his own was inferior to the one done in Dangerous. Michael's talent and genius made that album sound mostly timeless and fresh even 26 years later.

The R Kelly cuts were pretty bad, with only MJ's voice & adlibs making YANA a good track.
I wish they had done a funky cut together.

What about Jam & Lewis? Their songs with MJ are amongst his best, Tabloid Junkie, Is It Scary, History, Scream.

Production on 2 Bad for example.

Is 2 Bad Jam & Lewis? Wow, I never knew that. What an amateur MJ fan I am.

Riley* Kelly Child *Fun fact: Teddy Riley produced the groundbreaking tracks Breaking News and Monster Not to derail the thread, but whenever I read or hear the words Breaking News I can vividly recall how I felt when I eagerly played the song when they released it.
The confusion! The disgust! The sadness!

I like Teddy Riley and Rodney Jerkins, they both did some great work with MJ. Ignoring his extremely creepy personal life, R. Kelly's material for Michael Jackson is overrated, really only made worthwhile by Michael's contributions (and even then, they were amongst the worst songs of the albums).

Yup. Honestly YANA is only worth listening to during the chorus and especially the climax where Michael elevates it to the next level. It's a remarkably average song otherwise and I felt it was only there to help provide the album a 'definite' radio hit. Kind of like You Rock My World, but I'd take YRMW any day without hesitation.

Oh snap. And I remember it was like 4 in the morning when they premiered it online. Jesus that was a lowpoint of the internet for me.
