There comes a time when we heed a certain call....when the world must come together as one...If the West and NATO won't commit our armies to the defence of Ukraine, our money can help the Ukrainian Army! You can donate straight to the Ukrainian National Bank using the account details in this link: ukraine.ua/news/donate-to-the-nbu-fund/ The bank will enable the Ukrainian Army to buy food, weapons, various equipment, etc, for their soldiers. These organisations will also help the army financially if you donate: Come Back Alive - savelife.in.ua/Army SOS - armysos.com.ua/pomoch-armii

My daughter felt so strongly on Wednesday night about sending aid boxes, so I researched it.
Where we are, humanitarian aid groups have more than enough food, so don't need any more.
This is usually what is urgently required:
Complete First Aid kits
Or individual first aid materials such as:
Sterile gauze, bandages, dressings, plasters, thermal blankets, tubular bandages, saline ampoules, disinfectant, disposable gloves, tourniquets, scissors, etc.
Shampoo Soap Shower gel Toothbrush Toothpaste Feminine hygiene products Nappies Baby wipes Washing up liquid Washing powder
New blankets & sleeping bags
Disposable cutlery, plates and bowls
Get boxes from your local supermarket!

I've been 10 mins trying to navigate and donate but it's very hard to be sure you are doing the right thing ! I'll try again later. Edit - it's a bit of work but I managed to get it done. Slava Ukraini!

Slava Ukraini! Sound. I believe it's much easier to donate through the Ukrainian National Bank account for the army. AFAIK, you can do it through your app. Details are in the UNB link.

Yeah I think it's all on the main page of that link, but I managed to find the english translation of the direct payment with card page so all good. I was looking through reddit and there's an insta account that has been posting what has been bought with the funds, infra red gear etc. A small donation really goes a long way from what I was reading.

The Ukrainian National Bank page isn't available now. Cyber attack, no doubt. I will have to do mine again because the website deals in the UAH currency and I put 20.00 which is....51p! As a guide for others: 787 UAH = £20.00!
