May 9th is Lisa Simpson’s Birthday… And this year for her Birthday, I need your help in asking Disney and the creators of The Simpsons to reinstate the episode celebrating her birthday: "Stark Raving Dad" back into The Simpsons catalog. In March, 2019 - Producers James L Brooks, Al Jean and creator Matt Groening pulled the iconic Season 3 premiere episode Stark Raving Dad, from syndication, in a rash response to HBO's Leaving Neverland. The film which shocked many at first, has turned out to be a biased, one-sided hit piece made by two liars, looking for a quick buck. The truth is, Michael Jackson was proven innocent in a court of law, and can't defend himself after death. We should not cancel important pieces of art and television history due to mere allegations from fame-seeking individuals who's stories don't add up. Matt Groening, James L Brooks and Al Jean have left countless guest stars on the show that have had nasty allegations or problematic behavior. Groening himself has seen allegations against him and Jeffery Epstein, and should know better not to cancel someone merely on hearsay... especially after death. I am calling on all of you to help me to make your voices heard, and help us on May 9th, and beyond, help demand that Disney and The Simpsons, #SaveLisasBirthday . Help share us get it trending, and politely nudge the creators to the right the massively rash decision they made. Michael is no longer here to defend himself. He already did. And he won. We should not allow accusations to destroy a creator’s legacy after death, especially with only hearsay. www.change.org/p/save-lisa-simpson-s-birthday-restore-michael-jackson-s-episode-into-the-simpsons-catalog?redirect=false

Michael was/is forever innocent. I agree with you, erasing history accomplishes nothing in addition to the fact he was/is innocent. I have very fond memories of seeing this episode and other little MJ details pop up on The Simpsons 25ish years ago so the removal truly infuriated me.

In 2019, after the release of the mocumentary that accuses Michael Jackson of child sexual abuse, The Simpsons made a controversial decision. In a hasty reaction, they announced the removal of the iconic episode "Stark Raving Dad" from Disney+. The episode featured a cameo from Michael Jackson.
Since then, the mocumentary has fallen by the wayside, while Jackson's accusers have been caught lying. Today, instead of seeking justice, they seek more financial compensation.
however, The Simpsons episode remains excluded from the Disney+ catalog.
It is curious to note that not even Matt Groening, creator of the animated series, has escaped controversy, being revealed as a frequent visitor to Jeffrey Epstein's Island. In addition, episodes involving celebrities with troubling allegations, such as Steven Tyler, Marilyn Manson, and Dustin Hoffman, have not been removed from distribution. This raises questions about the criteria for the permanence of these episodes, while Michael Jackson's were removed.
