Yeah yeah yeah... now SoCav where did you hear about the vinyl? aazzaabb Find this curious. I wonder if it's an error on the part of HMV? Seems strange no-one else has mentioned it.

Anyone know if the Japanese CD has a bonus track? It's not 1998 anymore. Is that still a thing? TonyR and I never got the memo! Too right it’s not 1998 anymore! Don’t I know it!! And yes, it’s still a thing! The Japanese haven’t yet woke up one morning and said “Well, it’s not 1998 anymore. I guess we can do away with the bonus tracks that are exclusive to our country and that set us apart from the rest of the world!”

Yeah let's wait and see. It does seem promising though. That radio station is also saying they're handing out a double vinyl set. And when I check the pre-order listing of my local record store it also lists it as a 2LP set now.

They both had the bonus tracks so this is looking hopeful indeed.

Anyone know if the Japanese CD has a bonus track? It's not 1998 anymore. Is that still a thing? To give some recent examples: The new Red Hot Chili Peppers album that released this past summer has a Japan-only exclusive song. In Japan, 'Sour' by Olivia Rodrigo has an exclusive bonus DVD featuring music videos, behind the scenes footage and live performances. So Japan-exclusive bonuses are still a thing, but it's not as common as it was in the 90s and 2000s. It is still cheaper for Japanese collectors to just import American/European CDs than it is to buy the locally produced ones. So the exclusive bonus material is still around as an incentive for them to buy locally instead.

It's not 4k though... Only 1080p. Still a lot better than it used to. And they uploaded it in place of the original, keeping the streaming numbers.

Maybe they are in the process of uploading now. Or they will wait until Friday with the 4k. Already the 1080p is such a big improvement. At least it doesn't look embarrassing on TV any more like it used to in the piss poor 480p.

Safe to say we're probably not getting updated Billie Jean then? Love the communication and clarity from the estate.

Safe to say we're probably not getting updated Billie Jean then? Love the communication and clarity from the estate. They aren't promoting anything. Fans are basically finding out about these by themselves. This is still their latest tweet. From three days ago.

It has the 4k tag, once a video is uploaded to youtube it has to finish processing before all the resolutions are available.
