I feel like I’m forced to remind certain people of how brilliant a track TLIML is! Please! For the love of god! Listen!!!! Full Rod Temperton version. Isn’t it a thing of beauty my friend?!

I feel like I’m forced to remind certain people of how brilliant a track TLIML is! Please! For the love of god! Listen!!!! I actually really like The Lady In My Life, especially the extended version. I just think BTM is better. It would've been an exciting addition to the record, it's like Daft Punk, 30yrs before they became popular. As for butterflies comment about wanting Thriller to be just originals, I don't see BTM as a cover and never have. MJ's vocal and melody lines add enough original content to the instrumental to warrant a co-writing credit imho. MJ took a brilliant instrumental and transformed it into an epic futuristic masterpiece of pop writing. I really love BTM, in case you haven't figured that out yet.

I don't feel the need to mess around with the songs contained on such perfect albums as Thriller or Bad even in thought.
I'd rather wish MJ had released songs like BTM as singles B sides.

I love Behind The Mask, I’m just not sure if it fits the Thriller album as perfectly as everything else. I think if you remove a track from the album it loses something. You could almost compare it to the perfect blend of coffee. Each bean, hand picked from the absolute best batch to make an incredible blend. Lady In My Life being that beautiful coffee coloured froth at the top, or end, I don’t know. Every track on it is extremely highly polished and meets a standard in sound production and excellence. As great as BTM is, I wonder if it would sound slightly off and out of sync with everything else? I mean ever so slightly?
