three of the most important R&B acts back in the day and a obvious influence on MJ which of these three did you like or are you a fan at all?

Hell yes!!
Am a big JB fan. The Payback is one of the greatest funk songs (and albums) ever recorded!

James Brown and Sam Cooke are two of my favorite artists. JB in particular really had a big impact on me. I like some Jackie Wilson songs, but he doesn't really move me.

Not so much James Brown, but love me some Sam Cooke, You send me, Chain gang, What a wonderful world this will be and Jackie I like too, particularly Lonely teardrops, Reet Petite and Your Love (Is lifting me higher).
I am a bigger fan of Little Richard, whose showmanship rubbed off on MJ and Prince, did you know when Michael brought the ATV song catalogue, he gave Little Richard back his masters and I also really dig Sly Stone and he was an artist that inspired Michael and Prince greatly. Also really like Jimi Hendrix, but he influenced Prince a lot more than Michael.

James Brown Live At The Apollo is probably the best live album ever released by any artist ever.
