I am looking forward to it this year. Last Christmas was a bust because I was still with my toxic ex and Christmas is a difficult time of year to try and gloss over the cracks of an unhappy relationship and fake happiness. But this year I'm single and ready to mingle! I'm spending the day with my dad, siblings and their kids. I'm planning to unveil Ruth for the first time. They don't know I've started identifying as trans, so it'll be a big gay Christmas surprise and something to scare my nieces and nephews with! What are you planning for the big day?

I hope everything goes well and that you have a great Christmas. Christmas is huge for our family. Will spend Christmas day with my parents, grandparents, sisters, nieces and everyone. The girlfriend will be at her sisters. Then my sister is getting married on the 2nd January. Thundering bitch. 2nd of January... My other sister just had a new baby so it will be a lovely Christmas.

Gonna be a strange one this year, my first Christmas without my dear Mum (she loved Christmas and was a huge part of our celebrations every year).
My wife and our son are staying with my dad, and my brother and his partner are coming round, so we're going to try and make it enjoyable for everyone, as that's what she would've wanted for us all.
Plus I'm in charge of doing the Christmas quiz this year, which is a very big deal in our family, so it gives me something to focus on.

I really don't like the big family Christmas but my family does. We alternate between my mums house and my sisters house. This year its my mums house and most of the hosting, the cleaning before everyone arrives and when everyone leaves, food shopping, cooking meals cleaning up after meals, looking after guests who pop in etc will be on me. I would love to just book into a hotel and disappear for a few days but thats not whats expected at Christmas time.

I can't, its not the done thing and my mum while still very active is not the best host, never has been. I took her to Disneyland Paris for Christmas the year after my dad died. I loved it, not having to do any cleaning or cooking or hosting but she didnt, she missed the hustle and bustle of a family Christmas, she missed the traditional Christmas dinner, the food she has eaten every Christmas Day for as long as she can remember.

Yeah, I get it. Family expectation is a big thing. Just try and go easy on yourself. I remember all the years my own mum would stress herself out trying to make everything perfect, and it's not fair when it's all put on one person like that.

Probably just have dinner at my mum's with my gran and little sister. I hate massive family things and we have never really done that anyway.

The usual routine. Will be spending the night at my folks on Christmas Eve, then gifts with them the next day. No idea when we'll have gift exchange with my brother and his family.
Luckily I'm off work on the 26th so it'll be a three day weekend for me. Christmas being on a Sunday this year FTW!

I knew it.Β A straight Madonna fan? Pull the other one!! My wife says I have the gayest record collection. Madonna, Janet, Michael, George Michael. She's always banging on about it. Usually as I'm wanking off our neighbour.

I dont think MJ or George Michael are particularly red flags, but any straight man who listens to Hung Up and Together Again not under duress is a flaming closet case.

Thinking of the people of Ukraine on this Christmas Eve.
"Someday at Christmas men won't be boys Playing with bombs like kids play with toys One warm December our hearts will see A world where men are free
Someday at Christmas there'll be no wars When we have learned what Christmas is for When we have found what life's really worth There'll be peace on earth"
And fuck Putin!
