I still bop this album from time to time. It's aged really well although I do feel he peaked too soon as this really is by far the best album he ever made. Love him or hate him, you can't deny the pop brilliance of Cry Me A River, Senorita and Like I Love You. Plus album cuts like Nothin' Else and Take Me Now still hold up.

I didn't know people still listened to Timberlake in 2022?

You know you're getting old when even the Economy Value MJ albums are old enough to vote and get married.

Ugh, I should've known better than to post this on an MJ board. Are you really still salty that Justified was better received than Invincible?

I'm not even a huge fan of Invincible myself, although I'd say YRMW alone pissed over anything on Justified. For all the hype about this album, all the promo, music videos, magazine covers and media asslicking, Invincible still sold more copies worldwide and YRMW has over double the views of Like I Love You on Youtube and 80m more than the views of Rock Your Body. The only song from that album that people are still checking for is Cry Me A River.

Jesus Christ. Do you have to argue over everything? If you don't like the album then ignore it, it's not for you.
I agree with Ruth, the 4 lead singles are absolute bangers.

ghost @ruthg Now you've made Tony cry. I hope you're happy. PS. I never liked any of the singles from this album and no, it has nothing to do with MJ or Janet or the Superbowl. I just don't rate JT as a singer and found the standout single Cry Me A River to sound very boyband-esque. The only JT song I ever liked was Sexyback, so I guess this thread isn't for me, so I will take Tony's advice, and shut up.

You've done the equivalent of murdering someone and then promising to follow the law (or something). Sexyback is awful.

Still think that Christina Aguilera's Stripped is the only album from that generation of popstars that stood the test of time

I liked some of it, mainly cause of the producers more than Justin

You say you don't care, then you go and look up viewing figures on YouTube comparing JT/MJ. I ain't buying what your selling.

I liked some of it, mainly cause of the producers more than Justin Therein lies the difference. No matter the producer, MJ was always the star of his albums - the reason people wanted to listen. Without Neptunes/Timbaland, nobody would be checking for JT's mediocre talent.
