What do you think? Sometimes I think it could happen and other times it feels like a pipe dream.
I dont understand why Jordan hasn't hashed out some arrangement with the Jackson family/estate by now? I wonder if they've ever reached out to him?

I wonder if they've ever reached out to him? I would love to know this also but something tells me they haven't. Mainly because The Jacksons aren't big on action and the estate are useless. Maybe they're of the mindset that it needs to come from Jordan, although the trouble with that is, he has nothing to lose by not coming forward and everything to lose if he does. He would need some reassurances from MJs side, the estate/family etc that he wouldn't face any negative repercussions as a result of coming forward, which is why they need to make the first move IMHO. But I don't see it ever happening. Both Jordan and Gavin were raised by parents who were brazen opportunists with no moral compass. We are all products of our parents to some degree and something tells me the apple didn't fall far from the tree with these two.

No chance either of them would do the right thing. If you lied for money in a legal setting, would you ever go back on it when you had nothing to gain from it?

Jordan's never had to work a day in his life because of the settlement. You really think he's going to jeopardise the easy life because after 30 years he has some kind of moral epiphany? Look, I'd love JC to become a born again Christian, find Jesus, give his possessions to the poor and admit that he lied in 1993, but its the stuff of fantasy. And Gavin is still in bed with the very people who tried to prosecute Michael. Who knew Santa Barbara law enforcement provided such an impressive aftercare package??

Christianity is no guarantee for being moral. Gavin is very actively religious. The last time I checked on him he was involved in all kind of church activities in Maryland. I think his wife is the daughter of a priest or some other church leader. Oh, I also remember Gavin invoking Jesus on the stand ("Jesus healed me" etc) while telling all kind of horrid lies about another human being. Religion has nothing to do with being moral. You either have moral sense or you don't. In case he ever had some kind of bad conscience about what he's done, he probably confessed it to a priest under secrecy and unburdened his conscience with that, without any sense of having to do anything in public for the man (or his memory) he so publicly accused. Religion is good for that to: ease your conscience without actually having to do the difficult part. People like him probably think (if his religiosity is in any way genuine at all) that they can sin and then confess it to a priest in confidentiality and they are alright and still on the path to heaven.

I was being facetious with the born again Christian remark btw. I've wondered before how Gavin conflates his childhood history of grifting with his so-called religion. My guess is, like a lot of religious people, he's just a hypocrite.

Jordan may confess on his deathbed or in his will, when he has nothing left to lose. It would be very surprising if he came forward before then. Confessing means risking the ruin of his whole life at worst and massive ongoing disruption at best. And disruption of his family's lives too. Of course he should do it, but he has no incentive to put himself through that at this point, especially since so much time has already passed.

If they didn't confess when Michael died,I highly doubt they'll ever will. Those despicable bastards are bunch of amoral cowards who didn't care to ruin a man's life and reputation leaving humanity without one of the most beautiful people in every sense of the word the world has ever known. Both JC and GA have his blood on their hands.

I can't see any realistic scenario where it would work. Wouldn't surprise me if they used mental gymnastics to absolve themselves of any responsibility by putting the blame onto their parents.
For all we know they could be parents themselves now, probably making it all the more unlikely as they both seemed to want to maintain a low profile as it was.

I really wouldn't care if they'd try to put the blame on their parents. The main thing here is that the world would finally hear from them that it was a lie. How they then explain or allocate responsibility within their own family is really not important for MJ IMO. Besides, it's true that their parents bear the majority of responsibility, being the ones coming up with the idea of falsely accusing MJ. Not saying, Jordan and Gavin are blameless, especially since they are grown up, but I don't care if they blame it all on their parents, if they'd finally tell the truth.

I meant more as a way to justify to themselves not coming forward and telling the truth. In a convenient way, I suspect they've convinced themselves they have no duty to right the wrongs of their parents scheming.

In a convenient way, I suspect they've convinced themselves they have no duty to right the wrongs of their parents scheming. Oh yeah, that's possible. Also, unfortunately, I think these accusers are confirming each other in convincing themselves that they are doing nothing wrong. They know of their own allegations being false, of course, but they are possibly convincing themselves that "maybe some of these others are telling the truth, so what I'm doing is not that wrong, after all". Or even if they suspect the others are liars too, like they themselves are, they are like "oh well, if others who were his friends are doing it, why can't I?". I can see Safechuck, for example, to use this logic: "Wade actually remained MJ's friend until he died, so if he can do this then why can't I from whom MJ drifted away a long time ago?" In Wade and James's case I think it's also the factor he's dead that they use to tell themselves it's not that bad (he can't go to jail now etc). ETA: In Jordan and Gavin's case it's also possible they convinced themselves it's in protection of their family members and family honor that they are not coming forward with the truth. Like Mez said, you wouldn't believe how many ways people have to justify their wrongdoings to themselves.
