He's currently set to appear in court to answer questions regarding the criminal charges levied against him. He has not entered a plea at this time. Many of the donations on the crowdfunding site have opted to remain anonymous, including one donor who pledged $10,000 towards the campaign, the largest contribution to the page to date. The generous donator commented, "Thank you for protecting the citizens that day." Another donor who pledged $5,000 wrote, "Do the right thing. Dan did. It's not that tough." An autopsy ruled that Neely's death was a homicide due to neck compression. Dumbass Florida governor and resident dumbass Ron DeSantis decided to show support to Daniel Penny in his latest infuriating tweet. Penny, the man accusing of choking Jordan Neely to death on a New York City subway May 1, was arraigned and criminally charged in a Manhattan court last week. He is facing a felony charge of second-degree manslaughter and may receive up to 15 years in prison. When Neely screamed out for food and drink on the train, Penny allegedly approached him from behind and placed him in a deadly chokehold for several minutes. Two other passengers helped hold down Neely’s arms. He was pronounced dead shortly after. On Friday night, DeSantis took to Twitter to share: “We must defeat the Soros-Funded DAs, stop the Left’s pro-criminal agenda, and take back the streets for law abiding citizens. “We stand with Good Samaritans like Daniel Penny. Let’s show this Marine... America’s got his back.” In addition, DeSantis included the link to Penny’s legal defense fund, which is currently at over $2 million thanks to support from the right. Conservative Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has also taken to the social media app to show support for Penny. Update on Jordan's Aunt GoFundMe My name is Carolyn Neely. My nephew is Jordan Neely. Jordan was murdered on the subway by a man. The man was arrested, then released not charged. I love my nephew Jordan Neely, he was a very talented black man who loves to dance. Performance was his thing. His mother is Christie Neely and she was murdered in April 2007. It’s been rough for him and all of us. We just want justice for him, please give what you can with your heart. He has so many fans, he will always be loved and remembered. We love you Jordan. HARLEM, NY — Jordan Neely, the Michael Jackson impersonator who died in a 15-minute chokehold on an F train, will have his funeral on Friday in Harlem. The public viewing and service will take place at the Mount Neboh Baptist Church at 1883 Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard, near the corner of West 114th Street. A public viewing is scheduled to take place from 9 to 10:30 a.m., before the funeral begins inside the church at 11 a.m. Civil rights activist Rev. Al Sharpton will deliver Neely's eulogy after being invited to do so by Neely's family and the Harlem church's senior pastor, Rev. Johnnie Melvin Green Jr. “As we face sorrow, pain, and uncertainty in the wake of Jordan’s senseless killing, it is crucial that we come together in the spirit of healing, action, and perseverance,” Green said in a statement. “I can think of no one better, no one more equipped to meet this moment with that grace and guidance than Rev. Sharpton.” It will not be the first time Green delivers a eulogy for the Neely family following a violent death. Green also gave the eulogy for Neely's mother, who was murder by her boyfriend in 2007.
