And BTW, looking at that "Morgan Freeman" video I was thinking of whether the movie industry would use this technology in the future. For example, for the new MJ biopic you shouldn't even have to hire Jaafar or anyone to play him, who could never be exactly like him, but they could create such a realistic AI generated version of MJ. Singing in his voice, moving like he moved etc. In ways an actor or impersonator would neve be able to replicate him. I don't think this is going to happen with the MJ biopic, Jaafar is already hired. I'm just musing what it could mean for "resurrecting" dead artists. For biopics or other use. I'm pretty sure one day a biopic will come that will do just that... I posed that exact question last year -regarding the MJ biopic- and was ignored but you make the point. With deepfakes getting better and better is there any real need for Jaafar?

This is quite interesting if you’ve got a spare 20 minutes.. The guy who blew the lid on Google’s LaMDA is interviewed also.

I lipread and take a lot of emotional cues from people's body language, so I could tell those lips weren't moving naturally. And I wasn't getting any emotional cues at all. So, those would be instant markers of AI for me at this stage. For those who rely more on their aural experience to the detriment of their visual experience, I think this clip would be more problematic. ChatGPT as I said before is pretty limited and no match for a human who's very knowledgeable about a subject. ChatGPT only knows what it's trainer inputs into it as it apparently has no access to the Internet. And has no information on anything from October 2021 to this month. But ChatGPT would be good to use to improve your own debating skills, I think. It can suggest where you need to plug in knowledge gaps, but this would be your own honest assessment not ChatGPT's. The whole thing needs to be government regulated globally.

The conversation about AI is far greater than ChatGPT and this video also explains how limited ChatGPT is. AI is waaay past ChatGPT. This is a must watch.

Ai being used to reproduce voices should be banned. I don't really mind it for other uses though, such as audio separation/restoration.

Seeing people complain about this but they are assuming it is being used to reproduce John's voice, which I don't think is the case. It seems they are using it to extract John's voice from the music on the demo. “So when we came to to make what will be the last Beatles record, it was a demo that John had. We were able to take John’s voice and get it pure through this AI. Then we can mix the record, as you would normally do. So it gives you some sort of leeway.”

Yeah, I think this ability of AI to clean up already existing tapes and extract voices from them could be useful for the MJ Estate too, but I hope they won't feel tempted to create "new MJ songs" with this technology. You can't put it past them, knowing they think MJ is replaceable with imitators.
