Ghosts was released on a standalone VHS - I wet myself when I saw it in a pound type of shop in south-west England back in 1998! It had the score printed on the inside cover which is how we know who wrote which piece and all that stuff. Here: www.discogs.com/release/15056362-Michael-Jackson-GhostsActually released standalone 30th January 1998 in the UK. Still on sale around July/August 1998 when I got mine. Not well promoted by itself I don't think. Vaguely recall it MIGHT have been Number 1 very briefly in the video chart at the time here. A good amount of official and unofficial MJ products was on sale in that part of England at the time. I got an unofficial keyring with MJ and 3T against a green background as well. I believe that was at a place called Portland Bill which, IIRC, is a lighthouse. The last time I remember seeing so much official and unofficial MJ products was the BAD era! Always a good memory when you come across MJ related products somewhere unexpectedly! Nothing like that since the end of HIStory, for me personally.

The last truly carefree era of being an MJ fan was Dangerous era (before the allegations), but HIStory era was still a great era to me. The way he came back artistically... Wow! But the most fun of being a fan was Bad/Dangerous era for me. The music, the tours, the series of epic music videos etc. Yes for me the exact same. I agree with everything here.

Would have loved to have stumbled across it as a standalone release. ๐

1999 when I went to Munich for the MJ and Friends concert, and also went to the hotel where he was staying and saw him arrive and wave to us from the window. It was magical I would like to change my moment to the Invinicible album release. Such a fun time, with lots of great memories
