Janet. for me. Both incredible but something about tilt just flows absolutely perfectly.
That's The Way Love Goes is the perfect opener for the vibe.

Love both and the velvet rope was an album I could relate to, but I chose Janet cause I play it much more to lift my mood

The Velvet Rope.
Both great albums, but Janet. kinda meanders towards the end of the album.

The Velvet Rope, i feel Like Janet is at her most vulnerable state here but shows so much strength, very inspiring. I think thatβs why I also love MJs History album the most. Together Again is really touching, I get lonely has a very elegant choreo and Songs Like Velvet Rope,You, What About and Go Deep are absolute Highlights on this album π₯° I just recently bought it, and I had Never listened to the full Album before. Great work! And can we just say that Janet looks so sexy With the red hair π

A year ago I would have said Janet, but I went back to The Velvet Rope and also listened to JCsMusicology - Janet 1996-1998 documentary on Spotify, rewatched The Velvet Rope concert and a bunch of videos on YouTube and when I got more of the context of the album the songs just grew on me to the point where the album finally clicked for me after years and years.
