In the top 5 worst songs in MJs solo album catalogue 79-01, alongside other dubious titles such as 2000 Watts, Heartbreaker, She Drives Me Wild and Can't Let Her Get Away.

I literally love/really like all of those songs. No way are those songs worse than Girlfriend, The Girl Is Mine, It's The Falling In Love, Don't Walk Away etc.

Love Jam! I’ve wanted to see the entire Cardiff performance of it literally since the day that the clip was shown on The Dangerous Diaries.

My appreciation for this song has increased exponentially since listening to a stripped-back mix a while ago, I personally think the vocals are drowned by the beat and some sort of vocal distortion on the album version so I never fully understood what he was saying in the verses. Jam’s lyrics are fascinating because they’re so ambiguous, I especially love the second verse and these lines– “ I just want you to recognize me in the temple. You can’t hurt me, I found peace within myself“
How do you guys interpret this song?

I love dangerous but always felt the second half was more musically diverse. Right now I’m enjoying the first half the most though this could change. And I instantly loved jam when I first heard it in the 90s
