Fats Domino, who shaped the infancy of rock and roll with songs like Blueberry Hill, Ain’t That a Shame and I’m Walkin’, has died at 89, New Orleans' WWL-TV and the Associated Press report.
Mark Bone, chief investigator with the Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, coroner’s office, told the AP that the rock pioneer died Tuesday.
WWL-TV anchor Eric Paulson received word from the family early Wednesday morning confirming his death. His daughter said he was surrounded by family and friends and died peacefully.

So is the thread where we all pretend that we didn't think he was dead already and that we listen to his music daily?

So is the thread where we all pretend that we didn't think he was dead already and that we listen to his music daily? You do. He did the rap on the first three Invincible tracks.

one of the founding fathers of Rock and Roll and he stayed down to earth. Boogie, Bop and Pop with a Blues and Gospel tone and a Country vibe in the background.
this Cat was the real deal. simple and yet something so strong. RIP prayers go out to his family, friends and fans worldwide
