I've been a "casual" fan of P!nk for a few years, but only really had the Greatest Hits and a couple albums. I recently bought her new album Beautiful Trauma, and I have to say, it's one of the best pop albums I've heard in a long time.
There are some real gems on there, including the duet with Eminem called Revenge. Other good tracks include I Am Here, We Lost It and Wild Hearts Can't be Broken. My absolute favourite is a song called Barbie, which reminds of my own childhood (video attached)
I think P!nk is a bit above most other pop singers. And I just love her attitude. Anyone here like her? Seen her live? Her vocals are brilliant.

Yeah, although I don't own much by her, I have ultimate respect for Pink.
So talented and amazing live. Plus she plays by her own rules.

Yeah it's a really quality little pop album. My favourites are Barbie and Secret (which reminds me a bit of a Lady Gaga song). Pink is one of those artists who is better than her singles would have you believe. She always has some hidden gems on her albums and her label tends to release the more gimmicky songs as singles, which gives people a false impression of her as an artist.
And you're right, she's an amazing singer. She definitely has the chops!

Followed her for the first few albums. Fell away when I felt her musical evolution was slowing.
Big review though. I'd be intrigued to hear more from the album. Didn't care much for the lead single.

You should check it out Chris, the first single was actually one of the weakest songs on the album (but then I always felt that she is represented by poor single choices). |
