Well, I'm going back into the hospital (psychiatric ward). That new meds didn't help very long. Just waiting for a spot atm. I really don't want to go but at the same time I hate feeling this way and just want to go now and get it over with I hope I don't have to wait as long as I did the last time

It's so fucking boring in the hospital. I got admitted monday and nothing has happened yet! They need to observe my heart carefully because I have atrial fibrillation, so they don't want to give me the new (antipsychotics) meds that can mess with that. So so far all they've done is taken a bunch of EKG's...and I'll just have to be patient and wait til they're happy with the results of those. But that's why I'm here. So they can observe and just not switch me to other meds and mess with the fibrillation On top of that, I got the flu so I've just been in bed most of the time, but today I feel much better And everyone's been super nice when commenting on my MJ stuff and so far no mention on LN which I was scared of!!

Thinking of you Michaels Lover. I've been there (with depression/anxiety), it is something I have battled for years. It DOES get better. Just trust that it IS temporary and you will pull through. Xx

Xx Thanks so much Though it's not depression I'm dealing with at the moment, but my schizophrenia. I know I'm posting in the depression/anxiety thread, but didn't want to start a new thread just about me being in the hospital when I posted in this one before about the same (last time I was in the hospital was also for my schizophrenia). But thank you for the kind words

Finally started on the new meds today. sheesh...about time too. I really wanted to go home on weekend. Just for the weekend and come back again...but no chance of that happening, because they have to monitor my heart and take EKG's daily. If they didn't have to do that, I could have gone home. Oh well. I found out I can do laundry here, so it's not so bad. Other than that not much is going on. Same old boring hospital. But I'm happy that I finally started on the new meds. So we'll see how that goes

Saw a doctor today, and EKG's looks fine! Great news! They have to increase the dose slowly with these meds. They say you need higher dose for it to take effect. So far I only have a few side effects. And it's too early to tell if I can go home on weekend, they need more EKG's. But I'm optimistic because they are fine so far, but maybe when they increase the dose it will effect my heart, the doctor said. Hmm. We'll see how that goes. From tomorrow I get the higher dose. Exciting.

That's great news, Michaels Lover. I hope the higher dose will work well for you, and that you get to go home soon.
