^^^ The Way You Are is very overplayed. It's the perfect bland, inoffensive tripe that local radio love to put on constant rotation.
I also found Uptown Funk to be very overplayed, although at least that had the excuse of actually being quite a decent song to begin with.

That Sia song where she sings "I've got stamina". Such an annoying song and they played it like every 5 minutes on TV here a couple of months ago. Thankfully not any more.

Kind of in the same vain, I hate going to weddings, baptisms, etc because they always play Hotel California, the Spanish version of Achy Breaky Heart or La Macarena. I'm sick of those songs too, I hate them.

Daddy Yankee & Justin Bieber - Despacito Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk Shawn Mendes - There's Nothing Holding Me Back Sam Smith - I Know I'm Not The Only One Most of these are not bad songs, I just heard them waayy too often to still be interesting. That shows the genius of Michael Jackson though as I can listen to his songs a million times and never get bored with them. |
