This is bittersweet news, sad to see a real legend hanging up the mic, but glad that Aretha is still around to show the likes of Adele how it's done. There's not too many mega stars left but the Queen Of Soul is one of them. I for one will definitely be checking this out.

Wish the same could be said for Mariah/Whitney.

she is a Mount Rushmore level artist to me.

and in many styles of music. she is a Musical Goldmine and treasure IMO

I have never been a huge fan but have always had enormous respect for her. She opened the door for a lot of singers and divas.
