There are some cool stories here, thanks for sharing.
I forgot to mention before, I met Patrick Swayze. It was when he was in London, doing a theatre show of Guys and Dolls (if I remember the title correctly) and I saw him when he left the theatre. I got to shake his hand, say hi. I got a photo of him (although not WITH him, if that makes sense). I will try and dig out the photo and show you guys.
I didn't meet Madonna, but I have seen her about six times, including the theatre show Up For Grabs (front row seats!), I saw her outside the theatre as she arrived and left, also in concert and outside her hotel etc. I got really close to her at one point, and snapped several different photos. Here are two of them taken on different days. Unfortunately, I lost my favourite photo, where Madonna actually stopped and smiled for my camera inside the theatre. Losing that one was gutting.
Madonna in London when I saw her outside the theatre on two occasions:

Omg how? This was back in 2002 or 2003 and I'd worked in Home Theater sales for a long, long time. One of his representatives come in to buy a bunch of equipment. None of those businesses offered install at the time but his rep kept going on and on about how he'd pay cash for one of our guys to go out and install everything. He never said who it was, just that it was a very high profile person and I would definitely know of them, so he didn't want me talking to anyone about it before hand. I was like "Cash for install? Ok! I don't really care who it is" lol. So we set a date and time, then he gave me directions to this gated neighborhood. I had to jump through a bunch of hoops to even get in the gates, then the guy met me and took me to the house. I parked and walked into the garage and there's a bunch of HUGE security dudes all with "Shady, LTD" (or something like that) patches on their arms and that's when I started to think "Oh holy shit, this is Eminem's house" lol. The rep told me to follow him downstairs so he could show me where everything was going to be set up. I turned the corner, looked down and at the bottom of the stairway, taller than I am (6'1") is the platinum award for The Marshall Mathers LP". That's when it really hit me and I started to sweat. I figured it was no biggie since I hadn't actually seen Eminem himself, so I just started hauling in equipment and doing my thing. When I got done, I started to explain how it all worked to the rep and he's like "No, you're going to have to explain it to him. I'll fuck it up". So, he radios upstairs and here comes Eminem all casual, hand out to shake my hand, all nice and is just like "Thanks a lot man, how does this all work?". I stammered for the first little bit then got my shit together and walked him through everything like he was a normal dude. We shot the shit for a very short period of time, then I bounced. Very cool guy and very cool story in it's own right but it actually did end there. About 4 years later, I was working for another company and in walks the same rep to buy a TV for "someone". I didn't say anything but he kept giving me a look the whole time we were talking and final said "Where do I know you from?". I told him the story and he was like "Ooooooooh yeah, THAT guy!". So anyway, I sold him a TV and send him on his way. About a week later a FedEx envelope showed up at the store with my name on it. I opened it up and there's a pic of Eminem inside autographed with "Hey Russ, thanks again! Stay cool! E" I thought it was so cool of the rep to even ask Eminem to do that even though I never asked for it Such a cool story!! I think I'll go jam some of his music now

Putting aside michael of course
Macaulay Culkin from Home Alone - He performed in a London West End theatre show called Madame Melville, which I attended a couple performances of. I met him at the back stage door twice. He was kinda shy - but friendly - signed autographs, asked how I was, general chit- ---------- So did I and some friends!!.we went to the stage door aswell! We we down in london for the mj day.you too? Seemed really nice.quiet and shy.had a chat and what not.
I used to work for a concert/event security company so have met/talked to alot over the years. Problem for me as someone whos pretty clueless about modern day groups i didnt even know who i was talking to half the time and tbh didnt care as if you werent mike then you aint nothing lol lol.
Stand outs were adele. And the lead singer/guitarist from nickleback. Had no idea who he was until he walked on stage then thought oh thats who ive been chatting to. lol.tbh most celebs are nice normal! Ppl. Had the odd dont you know who i am types but that was rare.and the drunk drugged up ones like pete doherty who think its cool to smash up dressing rooms and leace blood and crap everywhere.most famous bar mj was prob working security on bruce springsteens dressing room. Working at buckingham palace seeing the whole royal family. But im a republican so i was more intrested in all the nice free food we got which made a change!

I met the band Kansas real briefly after seeing them in concert in 2010. Was a very quick "say hi and have them sign the stuff you had to buy to get their autograph" deal for each one. They all seemed pretty nice but didn't see them long enough to get a good impression.
That's pretty much my only celebrity experience... lame, I know lol.

Also really love her, and actually play her more than mj. I felt super hyper too before meeting her but then just felt cam around her. I think I also went muah after she said she loved me too haha I also met her 10 years before that when I was in the audience for her interview, my cousin and I reached out to her when she walked by and she shook our hands though security told us after not to do that

I don't know if this qualifies as "meeting" him but back in 2007 I was at a PR event during the Hungarian Grand Prix and I saw Lewis Hamilton there. He was a rookie then. I made photos.

For the backstage one, my friend is an American Express member and told them she and I were interested in the Janet Jackson special experience package, so we got to watch her do sound check and hang out in a vip area. Then they did a draw for who gets to go backstage with her for pics and my friend and I were the chosen ones!
