Sheeran co-wrote a song with US country music stars Faith Hill and Tim McGraw (who are also involved in the suit) called "The Rest of Our Life" Two Australian songwriters named Sean Carey and Beau Golden, represented by the same lawyer that represented the Gaye estate in the insane Blurred Lines case, say that the track in question is a rip-off of their own song "When I Found You," which was released in 2014. www.stereogum.com/1978117/ed-sheeran-sued-for-copyright-infringement-again/news/?utm_source=t.co&utm_medium=referralWhen I Found You: The Rest Of Our Lives: Oh wow. This is so blatant. Pretty disgusting tbh.

Yeah, that is very blatant. You only have to listen to the first 30 seconds of each song to hear it. It's pretty much the same song with different words.

Does anyone believe Ed is doing this deliberately?
Is it not just that his music is so unoriginal and derivative?

Does anyone believe Ed is doing this deliberately? Is it not just that his music is so unoriginal and derivative? Have you actually listened to the two songs? They're too similar for it to be a coincidence.

I think this is one of the most shameless cases I've heard. And how many songs is that now for Ed Sheeran? I know Thinking Out Loud was sued, wasn't that by Marvin Gaye's family? And then Photograph was accused of copying a Matt Cardle song. So is this the third time Ed has been accused of plagiarism?
