He's had some great albums Let Love Rule is his first and best many of his fans will agree it's very raw and emotional.
Are You gonna Go my Way is very funky and bluesy alot of softer hard rock on it.
Circus was a bit of a letdown but it has some good stuff on it but I don't blame Lenny on this one, his Mom was very ill and he was tired of the music business.
5 Is my least favorite from him it does have some of his biggest hits like I Belong To You, American Woman Remake & Fly Away but a very bland album.
Out of his newer works, the album Time For A Love Revolution is really a fine rock record!
All in All Lenny is very talented and a kickass musician - I'm glad he's still around.

You forget my favourite - 1991's Mama said and his second with "It ain't over to its over" complete with a Motown soul feel. It also has "Stand by my woman" - which is just incredible - amazing soul vocals and gravitas, this song is proof he could have been a soul brother if he ever got sick of the guitar. Let Love Rule and Are you gonna go my way are also great, but no so crazed on Circus or the later stuff.
3 golden albums still. If anything, he definitely leaned hevier towards Prince than Michael Jackson or TTD. And apparently in 1986, Prince wanted to star him in the never made project "The Dawn/Coco boys" and cast his with Tony Le Mans and Prince as a group.

This is another of my fave Lenny K songs. Production reminds me a lot of his work on Another Day (produced around a similar time, 2001-era).
Very sexy song:
