On a Michael Jackson site. Really? Well you know, other people have it too. Surely mentioning Madonna's plastic surgery is not going to lead to us speculating on whether Michael had 13 or 17 nose jobs are we, Don't worry, I know its you and you will no doubt get upset and tell me he had far fewer nose jobs, I really don't care how many he had, he was still Michael Jackson at the end of the day and one of the funkiest human beings to live. Meanwhile - Russg, that photo aargh. She has them old people sunk in eyes and all the skin peeling can not remove the bags under her eyes, also Madge, lay off the lip filler please! But then again, so what, as long as she is happy, it is none of our business what she does to her body, it is her body. I mean how many of us are flawless oil paintings. I know I am not. Who are we to cast dispersions on a person's appearance, the fact remains is at 59 she still looks and sound amazing. Madonna is an enduring icon whose career has survived through many of her proteges and wannabes - Britney, Christina, Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani and many others have come and gone, but Madonna endures.

On a Michael Jackson site. Really? I don't see why MJ fans can't discuss plastic surgery of other artists. I called out MJ for ruining his looks when he was alive and got heat for it by a lot of fans on the boards. Now he's no longer here, it kind of feels like a mute topic so I let sleeping dogs lie and all that. But it's not one rule for MJ and another for everyone else. If someone was to start a thread on here asking for opinions on MJ's plastic surgery, it's not like I would say "he looked great."
There’s one thing having a discussion, but you started a new thread (rather than just posting a comment in the general Madonna thread) specifically to call out how bad she looks. That and the post later comparing her to the Ghostbusters villain just comes across as nasty. You can’t win as a celebrity getting older, especially a female one. We all say she should be natural but if she was you’d then be posting pictures of her wrinkles etc. She hasn’t gone over the top like Michael did (although for the record, I believe he had body dismorphia) and I don’t see evidence of surgery as such, just fillers etc. And that is obviously a very unflattering photo angle. Anyway, in more important Madonna news, she’s back in the studio, so hurrah! Here’s hoping for a simpler, straightforward acoustic style album.

Who you gonna call? That's a bit mean don't you think? Imagine someone posting an unflattering pic of MJ and comparing him to E.T or something. It's easy to judge celebrities but maybe we should try to see it from their perspective. They are in the public eye and they are constantly pressured to look good. And they have lots of money, so who is holding them back?

It could be a treatment and it hasn't settled in yet. Madonna will be okay

May I ask, russg, why, out of the several dozen pictures that surfaced online from this event, did you pick these two? Could it be because you're trying to portray Madonna in the worst possible light? There were plenty of other photos taken where she looked just fine.
This is exactly what the media used to do to MJ. I would've expected more from a fellow MJ fan.

Pretty sure if you jumped on Facebook tomorrow and saw your all friends doing this to MJ you wouldn't be all that happy, would you?

If you think she's only had botox and fillers then you're in denial. She's had multiple facelifts, browlifts, had her lips plumped up. Compare any picture of her in the last 2yrs to any 80s/90s pic and it's blatantly obvious. The Ghostbusters pic was just a joke. At the end of the day, she's spent years trading off her image and looks, so she can't suddenly expect people to not talk about her appearance. It was different with MJ, people were drawn to him because of his insane levels of talent. Madonna was always about image, and she is trying to maintain a look that just isn't realistic for a woman almost 60. She had more class and style in her forties and seems to have reverted back to her old ways in the last 5yrs, except she's now starting to look a bit desperate. She needs to sack the stylist asap. The grills, the bling, the jumpsuits - it really isn't working for her.

But then again, it;s only dress-sense, if that's what she likes wearing then she should. Doesn't hurt anybody at all. And Madonna wasn't/isn't just about image. You can't build a 35 year career & be the top female selling artist of all time just on that.

I've never really seen why she's popular honestly. As a result of that I don't give a flying crap about what she's done to her face and don't see why anybody else does.
