There's been a place to discuss favourite albums, artists, songs, but what about WORST concert you have ever been to?
I've seen some AMAZING shows live. Kate Bush, Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna. But the worst?
Hands down, Mariah Carey. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of her or her music anyway, but I went with an open mind. I thought seeing her live (especially as I know she has amazing vocals) would be something special. But the concert as a whole was CRAP.
There was absolutely no atmosphere to the show (you know that magic buzz you get in the air before an artist arrives on stage), Mariah was totally lacking in charisma (I think I yawned a few times during her apparent heart-felt passionate songs), my handbag got stolen during the show (bastards!!!!) and a couple of Mariah's security staff got into a fisty-fight with an audience member. An actual punch-up.
All in all, it's one show I vividly remember but for the wrong reasons. It was the worst gig I've been to.
