These are only snippets, sadly there is no footage of full rehearsals yet youtu.be/WRHucNrj7JMMJ isn't in the footage, I think it was shortly after he got in the hospital and they thought the show was still happening Oh God, Bad with those canes looks really corny! And backflips during Thriller??? I think MJ had a lucky escape with that one.... And still I wanted that damn special to happen lol!

Hmmmm....... I'd say no. We have to remember that MJs shows were far more choreographed than Prince or other bands shows. With Madonna her famous songs videos weren't tied to choreography like MJs. Janet tours are a good example of how to keep things fresh for that kind of show. I also think it has more to do with a lack of shows than anything. After Thriller, MJs performances were so infrequent. As fans we only have 3 solo tours and a handful of live performances from 83-2009. So people are judging those very few performances. The Bad and History Tours he did a good job with the set list. The only thing I hate about HIStory is that he didn't sing live and/or pre-record more. With Dangerous he made that a greatest hits tour. He should've performed more songs from that album. The visuals and setlist for TII looked pretty good.

Michael made the songs and choreographies so iconic that I don't imagine them being changed. What his concerts needed IMO was a more diverse playlist, it puzzled and disappointed me he perfomed a very few songs from the Dangerous album on that tour and he had many J5 classic to choose from but always performed the same medley on his solo tours.
