okay I have no idea who she is but I discovered some of her music and I love what I hear!
Like Janet or Diana Ross, she doesn't have the biggest voice but she sounds so sensual and nice.

Yes, Shar- day is sort of what I meant Not sure where it comes from, she's from Nigeria originally so the pronunciation is African. She was massive when she first launched with her Diamond Life album in I think '87 and although she hasn't really troubled the charts much since she's always been a really well respected & popular artist. Definitely flown the flag for the jazz genre successfully. |

I love her... or them 😁. Isn’t Sade a group ?
Anyways, She is one of my favorite music artists.
I think my favorite songs of hers are « Smooth Operator », « Pearls », « Love is Stronger than Pride », « By Your Side », « Paradise », « King of Sorrow », « Is it a Crime », « Nothing Can Come Between Us » and « Sweetest Taboo ». That’s quite a lot.

Sade is actually the band, yes, but the band is named after the lead singer,Sade Adu, so it's both. I tend to refer to her as a solo singer as "she", but officially it's a band.

By Your Side is such a gorgeous song and the video is so aesthetically stunning. It reminds me of something Mark Romanek said about the Scream video, about how you could pause it on any particular frame in the video and you would have a visually stunning picture.

She has a wonderful voice, not a huge fan, but enough to have a greatest hits CD's
