Rooting for Oscar! Pets are family, hope he makes a good recovery. Was thinking of him earlier today. Poor champ! Thanks Nigel. He's home now and seems much better. We've been warned the next 2wks will go one way or the other, so fingers crossed! I've been in your situation so many times with small pals, know exactly what you're going through. Will keep my fingers crossed for him! |

Well, Oscar's been to the vets and is staying overnight. He's looking very sorry for himself and stressed out and has had a lot of medication (including propafol!). The vet said there's a 50/50 chance he'll make a recovery, so we're just keeping our fingers crossed and praying for a good outcome. Word of warning to follow cat/dog owners - keep up with your pet insurance! I didn't and today cost me £800. Of course, worth every penny as he is a part of the family, but there's never a good time to receive that kind of bill out of the blue! Sorry to hear this mate. Our 2 cats are our kids. As you know we’re not planning to have children so their literally our babies. We have pet insurance which has helped us a few times. I was all against it until we actually needed it. Visits to the vets don’t come cheap. I hope Oscar makes a full recovery and we’ll be optimistic for him. |

I have Musks name muted on Twitter, but this will be interesting. Wonder if my sister will fork up the cash. What if Beyoncé doesn't? How will we ever know which account is hers again?

I imagine for most businesses, it’ll just be yet another internet related expense, like paying for web hosting or internet advertising or whatever. I think it could be different for those who are more low-key/casual on social media or don’t really have many social media expenses. As for determining who’s account is legitimate, I imagine it’ll be like the older days, where you assumed that most followers = their actual account, or you looked them up via some other official means (ie finding their social media handle through their website, as inconvenient as that might be). That might work for top-tier celebrities, but I can see that being an issue for people who aren’t as famous. |

I took a picture of them together and when the awkward encounter came to an end she looks at the pic and got in a right huff with me. "I didnt know I looked so fat in this dress? What's the point in having a gay best friend if you don't tell me these things? It's your job to answer with brutal honesty if I ask 'does this make my butt look fat?' just like it's my job to tell you if that dick up your ass makes you look too gay."  |

I believe it derives from the term "faghag", referring to a gay mans best female friend, but has since been shortened to "hag" due to the LGBT community distancing themselves from the offending slur.
