But he only gave me 5 days worth and today is the last day. I feel he could have given me a weeks worth at least. The bastard! π

My cat Oscar has had a stroke. He's only 9 - we've had him since he was six weeks old. Taking him to the vets this morning - dreading what the vet is going to tell us.

Following arrows across the floor. Cloth upon my face. Refusing to hug people. Lining up like lambs to the slaughter being injected for a virus that doesn't exist. Beautiful world.
Watch TV.

Well, Oscar's been to the vets and is staying overnight. He's looking very sorry for himself and stressed out and has had a lot of medication (including propafol!). The vet said there's a 50/50 chance he'll make a recovery, so we're just keeping our fingers crossed and praying for a good outcome.
Word of warning to follow cat/dog owners - keep up with your pet insurance! I didn't and today cost me Β£800. Of course, worth every penny as he is a part of the family, but there's never a good time to receive that kind of bill out of the blue!

I hope Oscar makes it and I wish him a smooth recovery. It's always hard and heartbreaking to say your furry friend goodbye, no matter their age or illness. I lost my eldest doggy to cancer a month ago at the age of 13. The second pic is one of the last ones my brother took of Ziggy.
