Anyone else here a Morrissey fan? As some of you know, I've been a big fan for years. Yesterday there appeared online a previously unreleased track, (recorded 2016/2017) It's called Blue Dreamers Eyes
I really recommend it ... It's such a beautiful melody and vocals, and the lyrics are powerful/emotional too.
If you're into him or even if you're not, it's definitely worth a listen.?

This is a lovely song. Even Mozza's cast-offs are better than most peoples songs.

It is. Quite often with these legendary artists even their "rejected" tracks are better than most other artists hits!

... Bit of a gobshite now isn't he? Shame.
This tune seems nice. Haven't really listened to much since Quarrey

To be fair, Morrissey has always been a gobshite. It's nothing new. He's been trolling the British rock press for 30 years and counting.

... Bit of a gobshite now isn't he? That's why I love him. He actually talks a lot of sense. I agree with everything he says about animal rights and he's been a massive advocate for that his entire life. He's single handedly introduced more people to vegetarianism than probably anybody else in history. And a lot of his political beliefs are actually on point, if you bother to read past the click-bait headlines, which usually isolate his most extreme quotes and take them out of context for maximum shock value and exposure.

I've read well more than a headline anyway. I've read very little sense from him in the last few years, and someone I generally avoid reading about now. I was never a die hard Smiths fan, and never held Morrissey as high as others have despite my group of friends.

Nigel, this truly hurts my feelings.

This reminds me of when Noel and Liam fell out.

It is crazy. And infuriating. Britain has landed itself fully into 1984. On more positive news, I had an in-depth article published on music-news.com to celebrate his birthday...I interviewed his friend, guitarist, producer & authors to pay tribute on his 60th birthday... www.music-news.com/review/UK/13748/Read

Nice read. Was struck by the parallels between him and Madonna in what you wrote. As in they're both mouthy 60yr old icons with a penchant for pissing people off? Well yeah, that and the fact that they just wonโt conform, or change just because of what people think of them and theyโre true to themselves. MJ was the same in a way, much to our chagrin.
