Aaron Carter Opens Up About His Bisexuality: It’s Been ‘Weighing on My Chest for Nearly Half of My Life’ By Devon Ivie
A few weeks after Aaron Carter was arrested for DUI and marijuana possession in Georgia, the singer-songwriter has penned a candid open letter on Twitter that reveals he identifies as a bisexual man. “To start off, I would like to say that I love each and every one of my fans,” Carter wrote. “There’s something I’d like to say that I feel is important for myself and my identity that has been weighing on my chest for nearly half of my life. This doesn’t bring me shame, just a weight and burden I have held onto for a long time that I would like lifted off me.” He realized he was attracted to both women and men as a teenager — and when he was 17, he had his first “experience with a male” who he worked and grew up with. “To me music has always been my temple,” he continued. “Music will always be what transcends us and myself. The studio has always been my safe haven. But the ultimate goal for me is to be satisfied.”

Dude looks at least 20 years older than his 29 years. Hard living seems to have taken its toll.

Good for him.
Still don't trust him after using MJs name to get publicity and headlines a few years ago.
There was a filthy tabloid story which twisted an interview Aaron gave by insinuating that he may have been molested by MJ. He deliberately let the story gain traction and didnt speak out in MJs defense until ages after the story had already plastered his face all over various media outlets. By that time, it was too little too late.

It was more a case of what he didn't say. The media twisted an interview he gave about MJ to insinuate that MJ may have been inappropriate towards Aaron, and Aaron let the story run for ages before clarifying that his words had been twisted. Seemed to me like he was letting it run to gain publicity.

Being Bi seems to be more of a trend now. Not to say that he isn't, I just feel like it is used by celebs to make them more interesting.

I don't know, he seems genuinely messed up to me, I think people should cut him some slack. His dad held a gun to his head when he was younger and then fired it at the ground and it's the reason he can't hear in one ear. His parents literally forced all of their kids to become famous. All of his siblings have drug and alcohol dependencies and it even drew his sister to take her own life in 2012.
He's had a very troubled life and he seems really damaged to me.

I feel for the guy, I really do, but you get the feeling he won't see his mid-30's. He looks recked; completely emaciated and wasting away. He's also got that spaced out way of speaking that someone who's completely drug dependant speaks. I won't name names or make this about someone else, but all of us here have seen this before, and its sad when a person ends up like this.

It does indeed, because by its very nature its a disturbing way to grow up. They are, essentially, sexualized by perverted adults who control and manipulate them, use them for money and god knows what. All of these poor kids are Hollywood Tonight for real.

I think that's why Madonna has come out the other end of the fame machine so well, she was in her twenties before finding worldwide fame so knows what 'normal' is.
It makes the world of difference.

I feel bad for him. I didn't know all that about his dad holding the gun to his head. How f*cking traumatizing. Ugh. Really hope he is on the road to healing. It will be a long process, but let's hope he is getting some help right. I don't think Aaron has been "right" for a while.
