I just wanted to post this here, to give the members of this forum a clearer idea as to my intention for this forum.
- This is primarily a fansite for Michael Jackson. Fans are people who have love and respect for Michael, both as an artist and as a human being.
- We welcome differences of opinion, and want the members of this board to feel comfortable enough to discuss the more controversial aspects of MJ's life freely, without fear of heavy handed moderation or lynching by fellow members. However, that is not a carte blanche to disrespect Michael.
- Discussions about various contentious aspects of his private life (physical appearance, his skin condition, surgery and the allegations etc) are welcome, as long as it is kept respectful, both to eachother and to Michael.
- Finally, regarding the allegations, we respect the Jury's Not Guilty verdict in 2005 and we expect other fans to respect this also. Please feel free to discuss the various cases in detail and genuine questions and doubts may be expressed, but if you decide that you no longer accept the 2005 verdict, we kindly ask that you find somewhere else to post, as this is a board for people who respect the dignity and heart of Michael Jackson.
