So what do you guys think should happen to Iggy Popp
(Lyrics from the song "Look Away" by Iggy Pop)
or Gene Simmons?
(Lyrics from the KISS song "Christeen Sixteen")
Not to mention all the other rock stars from the 1960s or 1970s who slept with underage groupies?

Ted Nugent especially The documentary-series discusses Elvis (which upset his fans), Iggy, Marvin Gaye, and others. It's not just about R. Kelly and there terrible things surrounding him, but how people in the music industry looks the other way when one of their peers is a POS. R. Kelly wasn't just having sex and partying with underage girls which is disgusting in itself. He manipulated them, mentally and verbally abused them. He held them hostage and like to have control of them (and everybody around him) MJ fans are bringing up YANA due to the show's mention as well as their other 2 collaborations but there's another song. R. Kelly's first single, "She Got That Vibe" came out in November 1991 and includes this line Little cute Aaliyah's Got It
Aaliyah was 12 years old

I can't wrap my head aroud how R. Kelly wasn't convicted and his career could survive at least a decade. I mean Michael's public image was tarnished and destroyed by the media and general public even though he was rightfully acquitted.
And it disgusts me people needed the MeeToo movement to call out and criticize sexual predators who abuse minor teenage girls. I remember respect posted a 2005 article of Nelson George practically giving Kelly a pass because he was involved with girls and not boys.

I caught part of the documentary on TV tonight, and am pretty convinced that Kelly was guilty.

I caught part of the documentary on TV tonight, and am pretty convinced that Kelly was guilty. He was in take peeing on a minor. He married a minor Aaliyah. That made him guilty for me. Genius but he had some sicknpreversions from his youth that he needed to get help for.

Yep, I'm pretty freaking sure he's guilty as sin. The evidence is MUCH more compelling than the allegations against MJ.

I bet that perverted swine manipulated or coerced Aaliyah to lie about her age.

While Greenberg didn’t confirm any next steps for Kelly, he did say that his client is likely to speak to the public soon. “If nothing else I’m sure he’ll write a song and it’ll be a big hit,” he said.Lol this ain't 2002. There aren't any more hit singles coming for R Kelly and there haven't been for a loooooong time 😂

So far wasn't the defense that they didn't even marry, it were forged documents in the media? Only, it was refuted when it turned out Aaliyah filed court papers for the annulment of the marriage. Why if the documents were fake?
And yes, I don't believe for a moment that Kelly didn't know her real age. I don't think he wrote this song for Aaliyah for nothing. Too bad because I used to like this song (I didn't know then their story.)

SO many people are watching this documentary. I keep seeing it pop up on my social feed. Makes me worry a little bit about the whole Robson/Safechuck thing.
I don’t think I’ll watch this though, not sure I really want to. Maybe one day.

I bet that perverted swine manipulated or coerced Aaliyah to lie about her age. That's basically what was said the documentary. That she looked nervous and afraid She was screwed over by so many people close to her, then you hear stories and accounts from those who knew her about how kind and goodhearted she was....

Her parents should have never let her be around Kelly, especially since such a young age but I guess her parents wanted fame and fortune through Aaliyah. I don't get why he wasn't arrested when Aaliyah''s parents annuled the illegal marriage the next year. I don't know if this is true but I've read comments about Matthew Knowles not allowing his daughters to be involved with Kelly when they were teenagers due to his reputation.

If I didn't know they married when she was 15, I'd have thought it's a good song but then I listen to the lyrics and I can't help but feeling disgusted and disturbed. Take my hand, and come with me Let me show you to ecstasy
Boy be brave don't be afraid Cause tonight we're gonna go all the way
Don't mean to be bold, gotta let you know I gotta thing for you, and I can't let go
