What kind of politics do you like
Don't answer if you don't vote, don't care or live in a non democratic country like China, Vietnam, USA or Iran.
With all these unpopular right wing governments in power and the rise of racist and populist pork barrel politicians like Donald shit for brains Trump.
I am super left and love people's socialism myself.

To be honest, I hate them all. I don't trust any political party to put the nation's interests before their own careers. Most people in the US government these days seem to be career politicians, solely interested in how far up the ladder they can climb, and will sign off on anything and kiss anybody's ass to get where they want to be.
In terms of whose policies I most align with, I guess you could call me a Democrat. I am strongly opposed to the NRA and believe we should have much tighter gun control laws, but no Democrat politician has been prepared to take a hard line on this for fear of how it may effect their careers. This is just one example of what I was talking about above, and why I have little to no faith in any of the parties.

I voted centrist, but like Russ, I'm massively disillusioned these days. I hate the right wing populists, but I also hate the regressive left that call themselves "liberals" these days. They are dogmatic and anti-free speech, losing their abilities for a rational debate because they are getting too used to their echo chamber that is most of the mainstream media these days. They are too used to having that power of the mainstream media behind them and bullying people to conform to their views rather than discussing different opinions and views in a rational way. And left-liberal media is full of agendas and lies as well.
Because of my disillusionment I'm going to vote for the Two-tailed Dog Party this weekend at the EU elections, which is a joke party. It's my way to protest both sides.

I never thought I'd say it, but some of the far-right groups in Britain talk a lot more sense than any of the mainstream parties, who are practically identical on most of their policies. It's almost as if the mainstream parties are so frightened of upsetting anybody in the PC-brigade or the liberal luvvies that they end up not really standing for anything much at all.

By the way, I'm going to move this post to the Politics & Religion forum.

Triumph, your choices are a joke and filled with your own personal biases. You can't even begin to have a civilized discussion about politics when you're throwing words around like "racist" and "lunatic" in the poll options.

Not sure how being gay or disabled is in a political choice vote?
And the USA is of course a democratic country. Like it or not, Trump won. Yes there’s the whole populist vote argument, but they’ve always had those rules so he won as fair as Obama or Clinton did.

What a load of nonsense, could all these hateful and pedantic pedantic, just vote and say something about politics instead of attacking me or the poll.
If it's so damn awful start your own, especially you Ghost. Perhaps I need a mfin exorcist.
For a pack of Michael Jackson fans, you must be some of the most miserable and humourless people alive.

Sinn Fein under Separatists, but not Extreme Left?
Political wing of the PIRA and continue to glorify PIRA terrorism while denouncing Sad Act and Noo Oi R Arrgghh as well as ISIS.
Now, that's hypocrisy.
And, yes, your entire poll options is a bad joke. As Ghost said, full of your own personal biases.
Then, you proceeded to go ad hominem on those who commented?
Brilliant way to encourage people to discuss or debate. 🤔

It's hard to debate, when you have no one offering opinions, just insults.
O tempora, o mores!

I used to be staunchly Labour (left-wing), but I have slowly become more disillusioned with the party. I would probably vote Green in the next general election as I like their stance on animal rights.

I really like Caroline Lucas also & agree with her on Brexit. The thing with the Greens is to be convinced that they're not a one policy party, as their name suggests.
