To talk about the guy who's made the best films of the last 25 plus years without a doubt. On the brink of what's deemed to be one of his best 'Once Upon A Time in Hollywood' To start, ranking his work... Django Unchained (2012) ... The Hateful Eight (2015) ... Death Proof (2007) ... Inglourious Basterds (2009) ... Reservoir Dogs (1992) ... Kill Bill: Vol. 1 & 2 Jackie Brown (1997) Pulp Fiction 1st tied - Dog & Fiction, not sure I can separate them, whenever I see one it's my favourite. Bit like Who Is It & Give In To Me Django Unchained - Caprio, Waltz & Foxx are sublime in this Inglorious Basterds - Again perfect Waltz performance Then probably... Kill Bill Jackie Brown (gets better each time. De Niro is perfect) Hateful Eight (overlong & indulgent, but highly enjoyable dialogue & twists) Death Proof (violence for violence's sake?) So yeah aazzaabb maybe Hateful 8 is lower down than I mentioned!

Have you guys seen 'From Dusk till Dawn'? It stars him and George Clooney as the main characters and is a real fun time - but for gods sake go in blind!

Yup. Agree that Dog and Fiction are equally unbelievably incredible. The fucking dialogue is breathtaking! Who could forget the Madonna Like A Virgin monologue in the beginning of Dog. Or the Royal with cheese from Fiction. Every scene in both is just sublimely written and performed. And the casting!! What can you say!! Perfection isn’t something we see very often, but when we do.....
I might have to give Hateful another go. But delighted that TonyR is now beginning to wake up at 2 in the afternoon and realise he was still half asleep an hour ago when he put Hateful above Kill Bill!
Perhaps Death Proof is his Invincible? Possibly his Michael? Never the less, I love it. Perhaps it lacks in dialogue but the girls are fit as fuck and Stuntman Mike is a classic Tarantino creation! IMO of course!!!

IMO of course!!! I find I like it more than most people. Maybe they expected more, and fair enough I guess, but to me it's just a hell of a lot of fun!

I'll never forget seeing it at the cinema and being totally floored when it changes tack half way through! TBH I actually quite liked seeing Tarantino act there, and his various cameos in his film. It's a very Hitchcocky thing to do! (though taken to the next level).
I'm guessing he has a reasonable cameo/role in Hollywood given he's on the poster - under Leo, to bottom left of Margot if you're didn't know.

L Jackson's best ever performance. That self-loathing black man was stunning. And Waltz?!! DiCaprio also. Watch it again, I demand it.

Subject to change.
01) Pulp Fiction = masterpiece that changed how films could be made. Thriller.
02)Reservoir Dogs = amazing script and dialogue, on a par with PF. Of The Wall.
03)Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2 = the best action scenes he’s ever done. And great comeback after 6 years. Dangerous.
04)Dusk Till Dawn =Rollocking Vampire movie with classic Tarantino wit; “welcome to slavery!” “No thanks, I already had a wife!” Triumph.
05)Death Proof = I’m not sure how this was received but I love it. Aesthetically beautiful, and I love how the story suddenly shifts to a different girl group and Stuntman Mike! His comeuppance is a joy to watch! Invincible.
06)True Romance = Whatever happened to Christian Slater? I love this film. It’s fun with a bit of an 80’s vibe. Young couple accidentally get drugs and try to sell them. Great cast. Destiny.
07)Django Unchained = Another brilliant Samuel L. Jackson performance. Bad.
08)Inglorious Bastards = Sweet Revenge! I’ve only seen it once but it’s superb and gets better as it goes along. HIStory.
09)Natural Born Killers = Oliver Stone was a prick and rewrote a lot of Tarantino’s original script, and Tarantino was furious over it (You do not fuck with a Tarantino script!) But it’s a great film overall, and an interesting look at how the media glorifies criminals to the point of celebrity. I’ll possibly swap this position with True Romance. This was banned in Ireland and I found a VHS copy in a secondhand shop window display. I was a popular kid in school for a few weeks because I owned that film. Blood On The Dance Floor.
10)Jackie Brown = I just couldn’t get much from it. Seen it a few times but will give it another go. Victory.
11)The Hateful Eight. Kill me now! It just bored me to death. Michael.
Once Upon A Time...In Hollywood = Awaiting position.

Hard to believe that Pulp Fiction is 25 years old. One of my favourite ever movies, an absolute masterpiece of film making.

It blew my mind but I didn’t get it lol. I became obsessed with the film and the soundtrack. Each time I watched it I would get new things from it.

Years ago when my home was invaded by burglars it was the only DVD that was stolen.
