They really try to make words like "man", "woman", "mother", "father" taboo and "bigoted". SMH.
BTW, discussion about transwomen (ie. biological males) in female spaces is just heating up. Apparently the new US Equality Act would allow transwomen to compete in women's sports, for a man who identifies as a woman to be placed in female prison, biological males to use female changing rooms etc etc.

If they were the opposite sex/gender of what their bodies are, they wouldn't require the prefix "trans". Yet they do. And there's nothing at all "transphobic" in pointing that out. A biological man certainly shouldn't be competing against biological women in sporting events. I used the respective sexes 100m records to highlight how the fastest woman is far, far, far behind the average man. Never mind the very best male performers. It clearly shows a real world advantage for men over women. Beggars belief some find it offensive to point out. Have to say I very much agree with what RuPaul said about the trans community's attempts to ban various words. |

To me it seems like trans activists constantly move the goalpost. First it was "Sex and gender are two different things, of course we don't say sex is changeable or is not real, or that it is a social construct. No one is denial about scientific facts here. We just make a distinction between sex (biological) and gender (social)." Which would be fine with me. But now they are moving the goal post and started to challenge sex (biological facts). Which is shown by this push of transwomen into women's sports. After all sports performance is highly dependent on your sex (biological), not on a supposed social construct, ie. gender. Men are stronger, faster, bigger etc. Yet when it comes to sports somehow they are trying to deny that - ie. sex differences. This is not about gender (social) any more, but about the denial of sex, ie. biological differences.

I guess I'll still have to wait why stating a trans female athlete competing with biological women in the Olympics nonetheless is thoroughly unfair and even dangerous in some cases is considered transphobic. Laurel Hubbard has bigger bone density, bigger muscular mass and testosterone levels than born women weightlifters.

They are all over the place with this gender ideology and are constantly changing the goal post. First it was "gender is different than sex". That's okay, but sports performance is determined by your sex, not your gender identity, so why are they putting biological males in women's sports? Like you said, it's unfair and in certain sports it's even dangerous.
The irony is that now the Western world is so "woke" that it's actually doing a full circle with this. Women's rights, safety etc are being cut back and ignored here for the feelings of biological males. Isn't that a manifestation of the so called "patriarchy"? Some feminist groups are actually starting to wake up to this.

I don't know she's the same athlete that "lost" to Hubbard 2 years ago, if she is, I truly feel sorry and bad for Kuinini Manumua. Years of training gone to waste just because a trans woman decided she should be included in sports according to the gender she identifies with despite having the advantage of going through male puberty. The Olympics threw the fair play motto they preach under the bus over the feelings of trans people. |
