So does this mean LN2 is effectively over? Or am I hoping for too much? Possibly jumping the gun, but its one nail in the coffin.

A fan said he reported Safechuck's account (how stupid) so maybe that's why it is off not because he deleted it.

On the day when Safechuck's case got dismissed, the media is trying to deflect with a "poor Dan Reed got harassed by the big bad MJ Estate by being subpoenaed article". Pathetic.
But at least TMZ reports it now.

So why is Finaldi appealing? I thought that wasn't an option?
They'll keep trying, I guess it must be a no-win, no-fee thing or something behind the scenes is covering their legal costs.

So why is Finaldi appealing? I thought that wasn't an option? Appealing is always an option after every ruling. The appeal last year was related to the case based on the old law. Now it is basically a new case based on the new law, so they again have the option to appeal.

I struggle to believe that even unscrupulous ambulance chasing hacks like Finaldi are that clueless as to believe they have a hope in hell in proving Safechuck was employed by MJs companies at the time?

I guess at this point it is an ego thing. Or hoping for another miracle for them like the law change the first time around. Also, based on that quote from Finaldi, to me he doesn't actually seem to understand why the Judge ruled the way he did. Safechuck's supposed employment didn't even play a factor there. It's the control issue, mandatory reporter issue etc. (which stand regardless if he was or wasn't employed - which is why this is also bad news for Wade even if he was employed at a point). Either Finaldi just twists it for the media's sake or he doesn't actually understand the ruling, which would be shocking from a lawyer. But I guess they are not really used to having to litigate much with their practice. It's usually recruiting a lot of accusers against a church or school and then use that critical mass to force a settlement.

What's funny is, Finaldi seems to be as ingorant to the facts of this case as the articles I have read today about Reed being subpoena'd. I can see another small shift in the tide coming with this thing. TMZ's arcticle actually tells it like it is for once.

I saw 2 very similarly worded tweets today with similar articles and that's exactly what it reeked of. Finaldi is trying to smokescreen with the "Jimmy was employed" line. He's playing into what the journalists believe is the case. Journalists haven't read the documents. He's buying time before someone actually reads the cases, puts 2 and 2 together, and realise that what is being claimed in court is at odds with what is on the film. Expect more "smear" references. People are starting to sweat on the other side of the fence I think.
