I know my glass is usually half full so I don't think this is the big issue most of you seem to think it is. I was 20 years old in 1993 when my MJ world came crashing down at the height of my MJ fandomm, we go through that and barely 2 years later he was fucking Christmas Number 1. Then even worse in 2003-2005 and then 4 years later he sold out 50 nights at the O2. So yeah. been there/done that/got through it. Another reason why I'm sure is that the Robson story last year barely even made any headline, like I've said before I wouldn't even known about it had it not been for MJ forums. NO-ONE CARED!!! R Kelly is much bigger news, even his own daughter has called him a Monster (feat. 50 Cent). This cannot go to trial, it cannot go anywhere other than just another documentary that will be forgotten about soon. I'm pretty sure. Having said that, yes it's fucking annoying that there's this albatross round MJ's neck that will never go away (unless my wish that one day Chandler or Arviso tells the truth), but we're going to get through this people. Tony won't be wrong ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) I would not have known about the Robson shit only for the forums. 100% of Tonys mentality* * I'm worried I can't underplay that enough, if fresh allegations from a D list celeb never even made the news then that is a massive turnaround. And that's why I'm confident now. What was the coverage like in America where WR is more well known? The only thing that I think would eventually kill of MJ's legacy is if someone high profile new came forward like Culkin and I'm sure that'd never happen. And Safechuck is such a stupid name, no-one's going to listen. And to these Making A Murderer type documentary from the estate requests, I'm not so sure. If The Estate does that then it's blurring the lines between his artistry & the murky side, to me it's the Estate's job to concentrate on the music. But I see both sides. Making A Murderer convinced 99% of those watching of Avery's & Dassey's innocence so maybe it would be great on one hand but then it's just raising everything again.

Well, the people who don't know about Robson/Safechuck now will almost certainly know about them once a four hour documentary airs on both sides of the Atlantic. But who is going to watch a bloody FOUR HOUR documentary about this apart from either fans who don't believe it or people who already believe he was guilty?!

The media already started working on trying to discredit counter arguments. So we are a bot army now. LOL.

Yeah, if it becomes popular then it could be disastrous imo.

R.Kelly is bigger news now, because the documentary about him has aired recently. With this we only got the news about it for now. We will get another little shitstorm when it will be shown at Sundance (it will be on January 25 and 26) and then in the spring when HBO and Channel 4 airs it. I suspect they will aim at close to his 10th death anniversary. They like to be cruel like that.
But I agree that it will pass too. I think of what MJ went through in 2005 and then how he was received in 2006 at the World Music Awards.

BTW, I don't think it will be 4 hours on TV. I think they will cut it. No one will sit through 4 hours with this. In one of the press releases I read something like "one version of it" will be on TV, so they will probably cut it. I think it will be two episodes, one with Wade one with James and each around 1 hour.

The media already started working on trying to discredit counter arguments. So we are a bot army now. LOL. They obv dropped that to then. Of course the estate is fighting back. This bot shit is getting outta control. Someone tried to accuse Janet of the same thing. Saying she led a smear campaign against Justin and Madonna

That makes me nervous, as a slickly made documentary can convince people of anything...

So Safechuck's tweet is from 2013... when did he start accusing MJ? I know a somewhat decent amount about Wade Robson's case but I don't know anything about Safechucks. Did he testify in defense of Michael too? What's the general low-down with his case?
Don't get the 'no settlement' thing though, if he's talking about the 1990s case? Though I did see some moron on Daily Mail (yes yes I know) comment that Michael paid off 'lots' of families - despite the fact he only ever paid off one with evidence showing it's not because he was guilty. Perhaps Safechuck's referring to a comment saying something to that sort.

He’s also getting attacked on Twitter The guy who is attacking him, Stinson Hunter is a so called "pedophile hunter" - it is him whom Dan Reed's previous movie The Pedophile Hunter was about. He constantly promotes that movie on his Twitter. I think he is on good terms with Reed. These "pedophile hunters" are glorified in the film, but many of them are just narcissistic bullies. Just looking at this guy's twitter in general will tell you that. Also: While they might catch real pedophiles but pedophile hunting sometimes goes wrong and innocent people are identified as pedophiles or people commit suicide. They don't care. To them it is just collateral damage. That's how you can tell these people are sociopaths, no one else would play with people's lives like that. So it is telling about Reed to that he glorifies this subculture. Here are some articles about why it is wrong: www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2013/oct/25/vigilante-paedophile-hunters-online-policewww.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/northern-ireland/falsely-accused-belfast-man-slams-vigilante-paedophile-hunters-36450259.html
